  1. The Elevator

This WAD's scenario revolves around a central elevator wich takes you to the different floors of the layout. The play is based on the old find-the-key-to-advance-to-the-next-section methodology. The attraction here is the attention to detail. All weapons are available.

  3. Dystopia Level

This is my first level that I ever made, converted from Heretic to Doom2. I experimented with different things, and it came out pretty good. The level has 4 main rooms, then you have to use some switches to get to the other areas. There is one secret room. This is beatable without cheats and you are very well supplied with weapons and things. Check it out, and send E-Mail.

  6. denial.wad

A large, single level adventure for experienced DOOMers. A lot of thought went into the details on this one. There are a number of nasty tricks in this one, including items that aren't accessible via the obvious path (thus the wad's name), blindside attacks, and other unpleasantries.

  8. Downtown v1.0

Basically, it's a city. Not a huge city, but it's big enough to require some good hardware to get some speed out of it. Lots of linedefs. The level itself is pretty difficult on UV but it is possible to beat it. On DeathMatch it's great. Try and grab the Invulnerabilty's in the library and in the parking lot. Also, in the sewer, you can set some good traps. The alley is a bad place to hide, as there is no way out. But most of the time, you'll just be running around searching for the other player in the streets so just grab the plasma rifle or double barrel and hunt down your friends.

  9. fortress.wad

You, and hopefully two or three friends are dispatched to put an end to the evil king and queen, tyrannical leaders who rule over your beloved country with an iron fist.

To accomplish this formidable task, you will have to stage a frontal assault on the tyrants' fortress.

The first section you come to, after leaving your base, is the gatehouse. On this other side of this little building lies the parade grounds, where troops frequently mass before moving into the capitol to terrorize citizens. Then, up the stairs and through the garden, where the Queen is known to spend a lot of her time with her handmaidens. Then on to the magician's bunker, where the hated wizards and their enchanted lackeys work their disgusting magics. Then, finally, having circumscribed the fortress proper and gained the keys, you may make your assault on the throne room.

Remember, the king has the only key that will let you leave once you enter the castle...

Because saving is impossible, and because this is a huge wad, set aside an hour or more to get through the whole thing.

  10. ENDOOMED.WAD

This huge 230+K level features most all of the ememies in Doom II including Cyberdemons and Spider-Masterminds which are not just thrown together in one room but are well placed. The level is based on the E2M8 and E3M8 levels in DOOM I. It has a "Jail room" in which the object is to entrap the enemies, where one false move puts you in the middle of a cyberdemon crossfire. The level has significant weapons and ammo so you won't have to use the cheat codes. Other rooms throughout the level follow the "Hunt the Cyberdeamon or Spider-Mastermind" theme. Most textures are well aligned and much thought was done in constructing it. Supports and is designed for Deathmatch and Co-Op as well as single player. Hint: I goes before II.

  12. Office Building Deathmatch II

Layout of the office building I work in, 2nd floor and outside. Excellent for strategic or all-out-fraggin' deathmatch play. Lots of power-ups/ammo to survive that lucky rocket hit. One secret room (can you find it?). Let me know if you can beat UltraViolence single-player (100% monsters)!

  13. Private Hell, Part III Revisited

This is from Private Hell III from the original Doom. This is one of my personal favorites and have enjoyed a lot of DeathMatch games within my office. The floor plan is the same but the monsters are changed. (and more of 'em) >;) I was gonna change stuff around but I figured I'd save the effort for a new level.

Although I lost interest with the Private Hell series I still have Part I-VIII on my system. Maybe someday I will resolve to complete this work.

  15. REVENGE.WAD

This is the beginning in a series called revenge. This .wad was written by me, and is fairly difficult. It also was one of my first cracks at writing .wad files. Still learing some tricks, and traps. Test this one out under Doom ][. I have tested it under ver. 1.666. It will play via IPX, and Serial. It has been run in Deathmatch too!

My second Doom II level, called "The Downward Spiral" (Well, sort of a spiral). It's a little more complex than my first level, but it's still not easy to get lost. Please send me any comments (likes, dislikes, suggestions, questions, etc) so I'll have an idea what to do different for my next .WAD.

  17. YoU'rE SkrEwD !!!!

There are 3 switches in this level. One of them is the real exit switch the other 2 throw you for a bit of a twist! One of the false switches raises the floor heights in the entire level to 64 (if your a PWAD author you know that cuts the rooms verticly in half!) thus sealing off the door out of the room & trapping you there for an eternity (or until you restart the game!), hence the file name "you're screwed!". The second false switch makes the door out of the room disappear! (yes, u guessed it, again u are screwed!) You're only hope is to guess the right switch! Oh! one more thing, you can't simply hit the switch again, it disappears as well! (Don't use IDKFA please! Use IDDQD if u want but cheating is for wussy momma's boys! IDCLIP won't help!)

  19. Room of Doom

This is my first Doom II level (well, first Doom level period), so don't get too mad if it sucks. It's only one room, but its's loaded with monster (2 Cyberdemons (started with on, but he usually died befor I got to him), 1 Arch-Vile, Cacodemon, Spider Mastermind, and a bunch of Hell Knights, Zombiemen, & Shotgun Men. Oops, don't forget the Wolfenstein Soldier (Hey, how'd he get in here?!?)...). I can't kill them all, but with how I play, that doesn't mean much... Signed in the bottom corner with dead bodies (initials).

Let me know how it is for a beginner level maker's creation. I'll make some better ones later after I get more practice(and figure out how to make doors that actually open. Don't know what I'm doing wrong...).

    Aloha!!!!!!!!!

  25. WADS OF THE DAMNED: PART ONE: BLOODY DREAMS

Wads of the Damned are puzzling, death-monger wads that will push your true DOOMing abilities. The part-one wads load in as levels 1,2 & 3 respectively. If you are a thinking player, you will not need to resort to cheat codes to survive. All the DAMNED wads contain 4 DEATHMATCH starts and player 1-4 starts. Each wad has been thoroughly tested for both single and modem play (special thanks to Marty Ray for help with the modem play). The wads are also desgined to be played in sync, meaning, if you jump to #3 without retriving the weapons of #1 & #2, you will not survive.

DAMNED01 is the heaviest on puzzle. Failure to throw switches in a precise order will result in death and frustration. The wad should be taken with caution. "Rambo" style playing will unleash too many monsters at the same time. The wad is based loosely on the bottom left corner of an old map I have for the original ZORK (i.e. the chasm, the bank and the volcano).

DAMNED02 is linear for the single player, but has plenty of loops and hiding places for DEATHMATCH. Of the three, this one is my favorite. Monsters may seem heavy, but they are actually easy if you are calculating and methodical. In single player mode, you are always pointed in the right direction to complete the wad.

In DAMNED03, I decided to let loose. I had a fun house in mind when I put it together. Animated walls, light tubes and an exit room from hell will splatter your blood several times before you get this one right. It plays well in both single and modem play, but the order you find the keys in affects your survivability significantly in single play.

If you need any hints or have comments, don't hesitate to drop me a line!

I genuinely enjoyed this mod with its level design and music. It was challenging and interesting and it kept me playing a while after beating it to try to find anything. though I would say it was slightly repetitive and overwhelming with enemies at some moments.

Writing a review for Darkening 2 is tough. It's a beloved megawad, and for good reason. As many other reviewers have said, it is historically a very important project.   It was an important megawad for me personally. I fell in love with the first level in particular. The music, the realistic architecture, so reminiscent of the video games of the 90s... It all left a lasting impression. And it was one of the most beautiful wads I've seen at the time.   But I rarely played anyt

A competently made map, for sure, but fun? It's way too long and repetitive, with same-y combat & ambush scenarios used again and again, and with way too much enemies, and not that much of a challenge, even for me who isn't exactly fond of "SUPER HARD WAD #9263!!!!11!. You can cut the whole thing in half, and then cut THAT half in half, and it would be a better map. Is it bad? No, just a little bit above average, mostly because it drags a bit too long.

Generally good map design, but the difficulty as is the case with pwads tends to be uneven even on HMP, especially when you mix them with what slaughtermaps tend to be (monster spam). Too many parts where, after pressing a switch, you'll spend some time killing enemies only to realise the map maker tried to get cute and spawned a bunch of hidden archviles somewhere to start reviving everyone while you were busy wasting ammo. This is especially unfun in parts with very little cover where you'll b

I like the part where I pay for the numerous murders I committed by getting beaten up by either a Mancubus or an Arachnotron, it changed my outlook on Monster Priority. Thank you "Problematic" Revenant #7, I have yet to find a way to repay him.
