  2. runoff.wad

Runoff wad is a perfectly symmetrical level, surrounding a large pit. Hallways and doors seperate the outside halls from the inner pit. Fun wad to play, and each of the four sides has a storage closet. I am becoming more profficient at wad creating, so I paid more attention to detail in this level. Lighting etc.

While you are running for the SS, you MUST shoot the barrels... Behind them is a MegaSphere that will keep you alive from the acid.(if you dont run, you will die... you have 30sec to get off the acid, of you will be trapped... Enjoy fragging time...

  4. Qyv's house of illusions Version 2.0 or The Ultimate Rip

Qyvhouse with MUCH more grafx First of all I will admit this is my first wad ever made. It took awhile to learn the different editors... There are plenty of special effects in this deathmatch level so take the time to look it over before challenging someone. If you forget some of the secrets there is always a computer map in one of the rooms. IMHO this is the most detailed house wad I have seen to date, if anyone has seen better please let me know. There are several light switches inside the house, one for each room area, and are not visible so bang on the walls or use a map editor to find them... There are enough to turn off and on practically every light in the house. The helmets now up your armor 20% instead of 1%, and your screen will flash very brightly (from putting on the helmet?) for a couple seconds... Alot of time was spent finding the right textures. Even more time was spent finding the right sprites.

  5. Quickn12.wad

    Lev. 12 - Plumett Attack

This is the newest addition to my Quicken wads, and contains some of my best work yet. It has great texture design and a few cool lighting effects. In DM this level really rips, as it contains many altitudes for fragging and just enough space to keep things interesting. Weapon placement is good and going to get the BFG is a great adventure (in a good way). Also contains one of my "Hyper doors" from my Quicken4 - Lev.3 wad. Enjoy!!!

  6. Hell's Prison for Deathmatch Junkies

This is my first PWAD, so it is a little cluttered. It is designed for deathmatch only.

The level is supposed to represent a prison, complete with exercise yard, guard rooms, surveillance alcoves.

Some highlights include invisible stairs, an invisible lift, and a storage room that has one way walls around the entire room.

For best results, you will need to play with monsters. Make sure that you don't have -nomonsters on your command line, and that any DOOM frontend you are using has this button unmarked.

Please send me your feedback so that I can improve and expand on this concept.

  8. Point Blank 3

Here is another fine Deathmatch-Level. Made for DM 2.0 and 2 players. It's my biggest of the PoBla-series yet, so it might be good for more than 2 too.

Again a very fast level, no place to hide, a lot of ledges. And very well designed of course.

THIS IS NO CRAP! TiC stands for quality. Remember that.

  15. RUNAWAY.WAD

This level was designed to be used as a Deathmatch level for Doom2. There are no monsters and there is no exit. The level consists of one dark room, with walls to hide behind and lifts leading to higher platforms. The center of the room consists of a spiral staircase leading to the rocket launcher, plasma gun, or BFG9000, depending on the skill level set. The first one to reach this weapon will trigger the trip wire that sets the steps in motion, making it more difficult to reach this weapon.

  16. RACE.WAD

This level was designed to be used as a Deathmatch level for Doom2. All weapons are available, except for the BFG9000. There are no monsters roaming around and there is no exit. The level consists of two concentric circular catwalks, with a tower at the very center. There is dangerous lava between the catwalks and the tower. The catwalks and tower are connected by moving bridges. The plasma gun can be found inside the tower, but once inside, the tower becomes a deathtrap, for the floors begin to move making it difficult to get out in a hurry. All players start on the outer catwalk, and it is a race to the tower.

  17. Potters Field #1

A small, tight, well-designed, aesthetically-pleasing, furious-paced DeathMatch level for DoomII. This level was NOT just slapped together. A lot of time, thought, and testing has gone into it, so I hope you enjoy it.

I originally intended to support Solo, Co-Op, and DM with this level, but the replies from my beta-testers were always, "why support Solo and Co-Op? This level rocks as-is!" So, DM it is...

Both Original(-deathmatch) and revised (-altdeath) rules are supported, although it's much more fun under Original rules.

Difficulty settings allow for different combinations of weapons as follows:

"I'm Too Young To Die" & "Hey, Not Too Rough" --------------------------------------------- 2 Chainsaws 4 Shotguns 3 Chainguns 1 Super Shotgun 1 Rocket Launcher 1 Berserk Pack

"Hurt Me Plenty" ---------------- 5 Shotguns 2 Chainguns 2 Super Shotguns 2 Rocket Launchers 1 Plasma Rifle

    "Ultra-Violence" & "Nightmare" ------------------------------ 1 Shotgun 4 Chainguns 2 Super Shotguns 2 Rocket Launchers 2 Plasma Rifles 1 BFG 9000

  19. Death Ring

2 Player/more WAD. Designed for intense play. I did my best to eliminate lurker positions (that means you DARKFOX :) I tried to keep the textures non-obtrusive, they are a bit bland. But thats better than glaringly bad. I had to do some manual alignment which really sucks as it won't be noticed by most :( If you can get the Plasma without being shot to bits, then you are either VERY good, or playing someone VERY clueless! (on hard and easy) Whoops! I forgot to put in an exit! Play it untill one of you dies in real life, or use the -timer option. Please give me feedback on this level. Especially if you made changes that you feel enhanced it. All messages will be answered, if I want ;) My first level, it can only get better...

  22. Playgrd.zip

This is the largest, most complicated, and best looking wad I have built. I put a lot of work into it and it shows. It is a giant arena/battle ground devided into five smaller walled in encloseurs. Each area has bunkers, platforms and walls from which you can conduct firefights. There are an abundance of teleporters to enable you to escape quickly. There are many buttons which enable you to modify the combat arena. There is also several secret doors and rooms which may or may not need to be discovered to complete the level. This wad was designed for deathmatch, but might be to large to play deathmatch on some computers. I tried it on my 486dx33 and it rocked! It can be played in co-op and provides quite a challange in single player as well.

This is a dm-only wad for 3-4 players. I tried to keep it small for a maximum of frags. I hate it if you have to look too long for somebody to frag. There is a cool teleport in the center to get you to any area of the map in no time. Please mail your comments. If you like this WAD, try SPACE23.WAD, another of my creations (single player).

I genuinely enjoyed this mod with its level design and music. It was challenging and interesting and it kept me playing a while after beating it to try to find anything. though I would say it was slightly repetitive and overwhelming with enemies at some moments.

Writing a review for Darkening 2 is tough. It's a beloved megawad, and for good reason. As many other reviewers have said, it is historically a very important project.   It was an important megawad for me personally. I fell in love with the first level in particular. The music, the realistic architecture, so reminiscent of the video games of the 90s... It all left a lasting impression. And it was one of the most beautiful wads I've seen at the time.   But I rarely played anyt

A competently made map, for sure, but fun? It's way too long and repetitive, with same-y combat & ambush scenarios used again and again, and with way too much enemies, and not that much of a challenge, even for me who isn't exactly fond of "SUPER HARD WAD #9263!!!!11!. You can cut the whole thing in half, and then cut THAT half in half, and it would be a better map. Is it bad? No, just a little bit above average, mostly because it drags a bit too long.

Generally good map design, but the difficulty as is the case with pwads tends to be uneven even on HMP, especially when you mix them with what slaughtermaps tend to be (monster spam). Too many parts where, after pressing a switch, you'll spend some time killing enemies only to realise the map maker tried to get cute and spawned a bunch of hidden archviles somewhere to start reviving everyone while you were busy wasting ammo. This is especially unfun in parts with very little cover where you'll b

I like the part where I pay for the numerous murders I committed by getting beaten up by either a Mancubus or an Arachnotron, it changed my outlook on Monster Priority. Thank you "Problematic" Revenant #7, I have yet to find a way to repay him.
