  1. Dead In 60 Seconds

A megawad that has been [/newprojected]. Meant to contain 32 maps, but I quickly lost intrest in it, thus leaving with just 5 maps. These levels are speedmaps which have been designed under 40 minutes. Expect more of these kaiser_*.wads to show up in the future. also be some of my final wads that I will ever make for Doom.

  3. Minotaur's Maze

Well, you're again lost in the infernal maze, and alone against the cibernetic mino- taur; that beast who can destroy you with the two arms tied back... Long time ago, Raziel send me a Doom2 version of the Minotaur's Maze. This is a variant with some corrections in textures and light levels; due to, of course, my neglect building the ori- ginal map for Doom1.

  5. LC-Tunnel system at planet Tee Hoo Cee

Its built from 10 sectors, so don't expect much detail... There is enough ammo in the map to kill all monsters, but sometimes you might not have much. But be brave and proceed and you shall get more of it.

  6. Lunatic Of Gods Creation

Lots of secrets may make this level very tricky as you will need to find them to progress! If you do not find all the secrets you will get stuck. This is deliberate! So save your keyboards!!!!!!!

This level has an end of level boss. So save your weapons OR find a secret.......

There are also two exits one earlier than the other. No brownie points for finishing early!

  7. THE LAST DOOM LEVEL MADE IN 2003

The last Doom level made in 2003. When you have nothing to do before midnight, just make a new level and throw in some poor old helpless troopers.

  8. Internal Reaches 2

This wad has no theme, just a plain Doom2 level that I made off of my spare time, this is also the very first level I made with Gherkin's Doom Builder (http://www.xodemultimedia.com/builder.php). Nothing special, just a level thats meant to be fun. This is the first of the kaiser_*.wad series, expect more of these to pop up in the future, and these will also be some of my final wads that I will ever make for Doom.

  9. Low Blow

One map with a style similar to E4M2 of Ultimate Doom. This map is map 17 in my upcoming megawad. Theres no reason in Hell that you should run out of ammo on the lower skill levels.

  10. The power supply (Second version)

A futurist level, neither large nor hard... The evil demons strike again, infesting the largest UAC energy generator. What they will try? To stop their plans -if they have- the earth defense forces have sent the silliest marine of the academy... Well, good luck.

In this "second version" I fixed a design bug; now, you can't get trapped in the water, near the generator and the red keycard... better, no?

  11. Return to the Exit

You've just reached the exit. But when you try to approach the exit switch... Damn! This quest appears to be longer than you thought.

IMPORTANT: Original KGY2.WAD may *crash* with the Doomsday engine (versions 1.7.8 and above) so make sure you use KGy2_Doomsday.wad with Doomsday.

Demo lumps work correctly only with the original KGY2.WAD. They were recorded by id's DOOM2 engine (version 1.666). The enclosed .BAT files all launch KGY2.WAD, so they can used with DOS DOOM2.

  17. Kiddy

Designed specifically for my young daughter, when played on the first two difficulty levels no monsters are present. This gives a new player an opportunity to grapple with the usual doors, switches, hidden doors and so on. To make this level interesting particular attention has been paid to the textures used to create a pleasing appearance. You will also find some classic DOOM 'tricks', like deep water, deep water tunnels, and 'walking on air'. From 'Hurt me Plenty' on, the usual array of hellspawn is there to give you a good run for your money.

  20. The Killhouse

This is an update to the old Killhouse. The monsters/ammo/health balance is much better, and some minor bugs have been corrected. The Killhouse is a dark (not too dark!) house made of wood and metal. There are lots of monsters (compared to the size of map), but no Cyberdemons or Spiderdemons. There are 75 monsters in Ultra-Violence and some of them are in traps and ambushes. If UV skill setting is too difficult, try HMP! Skill levels 1 & 2 are for beginners. A file killhmax.lmp comes with this zip package. What is this file? It's a demo (recorded in Doom2 1.9) which shows how to get 100% kills and 100% secrets on UV skill. In case you don't know, it is played with the command: 'doom2 -file killh.wad -playdemo killhmax'. Please send comments to my E-mail address, so I know if someone really plays this wad! I'd also like to get some demos for this map, recorded by other people.

I genuinely enjoyed this mod with its level design and music. It was challenging and interesting and it kept me playing a while after beating it to try to find anything. though I would say it was slightly repetitive and overwhelming with enemies at some moments.

Writing a review for Darkening 2 is tough. It's a beloved megawad, and for good reason. As many other reviewers have said, it is historically a very important project.   It was an important megawad for me personally. I fell in love with the first level in particular. The music, the realistic architecture, so reminiscent of the video games of the 90s... It all left a lasting impression. And it was one of the most beautiful wads I've seen at the time.   But I rarely played anyt

A competently made map, for sure, but fun? It's way too long and repetitive, with same-y combat & ambush scenarios used again and again, and with way too much enemies, and not that much of a challenge, even for me who isn't exactly fond of "SUPER HARD WAD #9263!!!!11!. You can cut the whole thing in half, and then cut THAT half in half, and it would be a better map. Is it bad? No, just a little bit above average, mostly because it drags a bit too long.

Generally good map design, but the difficulty as is the case with pwads tends to be uneven even on HMP, especially when you mix them with what slaughtermaps tend to be (monster spam). Too many parts where, after pressing a switch, you'll spend some time killing enemies only to realise the map maker tried to get cute and spawned a bunch of hidden archviles somewhere to start reviving everyone while you were busy wasting ammo. This is especially unfun in parts with very little cover where you'll b

I like the part where I pay for the numerous murders I committed by getting beaten up by either a Mancubus or an Arachnotron, it changed my outlook on Monster Priority. Thank you "Problematic" Revenant #7, I have yet to find a way to repay him.
