  2. Abyssal Speedmapping Sessions: Session 1

    4 maps made during the first Abyssal Speedmapping Session in the space of two hours, with 15 minutes for music and texture selection and 15 minutes for bugfixing. Each mapper had 3 themes to choose from:

    - Lava fortress in a hellish canyon - Techbase heavily warped by Hell's influence - Food themed :P

    No-one chose food themed for some reason.

    Yet another AEODish mod, created from scratch, based on my tartarus 3 replacers, many original stuff. Features: -Over 40 new weapons, 140 new monsters, all well tested and balanced. -Monsters are faster and smarter, more unpredictable, many of them they also move like players(with acceleration). -Randomized enemy health. -Custom gore that based on other's work, very messy. -Hires sound fx and brightmaps included. -Gain gift points and trade them for random stuff. -Doom builder ready, all stuff are categorized.

  8. Bossed

    "Bossed" is a small wad that contains 5 maps for Doom 2 using lots of ACS scripts, so it's designed only for ZDoom. In each map there's a boss encounter at the end. New monsters are included from Realm667 Beastiary and most of Skulltag's monsters.

    The Story You (Doomguy) have gone through many hellish invasions without having cruel problems. You are a legend. You're one of a kind. This is what attracted hellish species from another dimensions.

    A group of 5 monsters who call themselves "The Elite 5" wanted to challenge you, so they started to invade the earth just as every time hell did in the past. However, it is mentioned that they are not like any monsters you've faced them before.

    The maps are hard after the beginnings and gameplay could take more than 1 hour.

  9. Coop Zombies

    A mod intended to make cooperative and survival play more Fun. If you happen to die and don't gib, your corpse will after a few seconds start making noises and get back up, hostile to other players or anything that might hurt it, and it has whatever weapon you died with. If you are a wuss or simply had no weapons and died with fist, chainsaw, or a pistol, then there is a small chance of very high amounts of additional Fun. Furthermore, a zombie can revive other monsters, can't be a target for infighting, and will summon screamy bomb people upon its death. Furthermore, fist, chainsaw, and pistol zombies can summon those whenever they feel like it.

  11. Compound.

    To be played with: WTP.wad and Inc_V4.wad for best experience. The tunnel at the old incubation labs led to this old UAC compound. The compound has, of course, recently fell into hell's hands. It is clear what you need to do: Find the yellow key hidden within the storage area, then escape into the sewers. How you take on this task is up to you, I have designed it to accommodate multiple strategies and gameplay choices as well as optional areas of the map.

  12. Cadaveric Incubator of Endoparasites (Cadaver for short)

    This map originally started as an outlet for my flesh texture fetish: I always felt that the flesh textures were a bit underused in this day and age, so I decided to go a bit overboard. About partway through I decided to throw a DeHackEd patch in to spice things up: it doesn't change things too much, but keep on your toes. :-)

    The map occupies the MAP01 slot and has an infested nukage compound theme. There's new textures, music, and of course the DeHackEd patch. Enjoy!

    Oh, and Cadaveric Incubator of Endoparasites is the name of one of my favourite, songs, in case you were wondering. =D

    During an assault into an infested city, a group of marines were pinned down by a Cyberdemon. You are sent with an armoured convoy to rescue these marines, but the convoy got ambushed. You escape, but you need to proceed on foot. Jumping is required to finish this level.

  16. The Abaddon

    This is one of the first few map I made for Doom 2 back in 2010. It's a medium sized, hellish themed map which shouldn't be too difficult to beat. This was originally supposed to be part of a PWAD that I am currently working on; but it isn't on par with my other maps anymore so I decided to scrap it and replace it with something else. I'm uploading it on here as a single level WAD and hopefully you guys like it.

  19. A Marine's Last Stance...

    The legend of the Gold storyline continues after you find out your girlfriend has tried to kill you back in Desert Paradise. Moving forward you go towards a castle located in the desert and you enter the place. Now in order to escape this place you must go through the gauntlet of hell against various enemies to escape. After that a surprise awaits you as this now becomes a marine's last stance.

  25. Atomic Attack

    On August 4th, 2219, Doomguy decided to return to the old UAC phobos base, for old times' sake. Then he realized that, for some reason, everyone there was incredibly stupid and horny for imps. Then he decided to go back to hell for no reason, but when he entered the portal, whet he found wasn't hell. It was much, much worse.

    My 16-level masterpiece. This is a cacoward winner for sure.

    2 months ago, my first submission to /idgames was met with critically scathing reviews. Ever since then, I worked day and night to produce something infinitely better. And I mean that.

    DISCLAIMER: Even though this WAD contains MP3s, they are not copyrighted. Some maps use SLIGE textures, but they aren't straight SLIGE maps.

      I genuinely enjoyed this mod with its level design and music. It was challenging and interesting and it kept me playing a while after beating it to try to find anything. though I would say it was slightly repetitive and overwhelming with enemies at some moments.

      Writing a review for Darkening 2 is tough. It's a beloved megawad, and for good reason. As many other reviewers have said, it is historically a very important project.   It was an important megawad for me personally. I fell in love with the first level in particular. The music, the realistic architecture, so reminiscent of the video games of the 90s... It all left a lasting impression.       A competently made map, for sure, but fun? It's way too long and repetitive, with same-y combat & ambush scenarios used again and again, and with way too much enemies, and not that much of a challenge, even for me who isn't exactly fond of "SUPER HARD WAD #9263!!!!11!. You can cut the whole thing in half, and then cut THAT half in half, and it would be a better map. Is it bad? No, just a little bit above average, mostly because it drags a bit too long.

      Generally good map design, but the difficulty as is the case with pwads tends to be uneven even on HMP, especially when you mix them with what slaughtermaps tend to be (monster spam). Too many parts where, after pressing a switch, you'll spend some time killing enemies only to realise the map maker tried to get cute and spawned a bunch of hidden archviles somewhere to start reviving everyone while you were busy wasting ammo. This is especially unfun in parts with very little cover where you'll b

      I like the part where I pay for the numerous murders I committed by getting beaten up by either a Mancubus or an Arachnotron, it changed my outlook on Monster Priority. Thank you "Problematic" Revenant #7, I have yet to find a way to repay him.
