After Two successful...ish endeavors, the MAYhem crew is back for its biggest, most ambitious, and closest to on time campaign yet! (Everything said and done before July!) As usual the maps were made in a one month time span (the month of May). Only this time, to commemorate the cultural zeitgeist of the era, all the maps were confined to a 2048x2048 playing space, so years from now, we can look back on one of the definitve passtimes of the early months of 2014! While severerly dating in execution, we on the MAYhem team hope this levelpack will neverhtheless keep players entertained for a long time to come.

Going Down

Something sinister is lurking in UAC headquarters. Grab your gun, head to the roof and shoot your way down through the building to get to the bottom of the mystery.
This is a 32 map Doom 2 megawad - boom format, complevel 9. Each map is a floor, each floor has a lift, each lift needs a key. You'll work it out I'm sure, just keep going down.
These are small, fairly hard maps with high body-counts, and gameplay I would describe as 'chaotic-evil'. The music tracks are my own compositions which you may use with appropriate credits, here is a track list:

Resurgence (final version)

Resurgence is a 32 maps megawad project, an upgrade from the unfinished Surge project. The maps are similar to Speed of Doom, ranging from Scythe/Plutonia-like maps to Speed of Doom to Resurgence-unique. The difficulty is considerably less in places but there are several challenging maps to plow through with the occasional slaughtermaps. (For those who don't like slaughter, avoid Map11,25,27,28,30) Sizes vary greatly (for the sake of variety), ranging from quick paced maps lasting 5 minutes to a long grind that could last even an hour. The project took about a year to complete. Surge was originally a month, and Resurgence took 7 months of non-stop work, 5 months hiatus and then a month of intensive sessions. The Surge maps that has not been heavily modified are Map05,13,14. Although not everyone will like all maps, hopefully this megawad offers several things that can be appreciated and also offers fun and challenges (I am looking at you demo-recording speed- runners...).536 downloads

My 12-level Megawad for Doom 2/Final Doom, and sequel to my previous work, Damnation. Horror-themed but still with plenty of action. Uses .ogg music files for the levels and text screens, as well as ambient sounds throughout the levels. Continues the story of Damnation, with the surviving marine encountering the Thanatos Base on the borders of the system.
Overall difficulty of the Wad is hard, with some difficult encounters in addition to some surprising tricks and traps. Levels are generally large, and average about 10-15 minutes in length each. Uses some monsters/weapons/items from Skulltag.
Requires Zandronum, as well as the additional files in the .zip (cc4-tex.wad, q2tex.wad, IDTEX.wad, skulltag_data.pk3, skulltag_actors.pk3). Read the .rtf file as well if you want to know more about the story and details on the development of the Wad.113 downloads

The levels were made with pistol start in mind and each map will vary in terms of Theme, Difficulty and Gameplay style. Thy PrBoom Maps

Thy PrBoom Maps was to be a 1 man made megawad (all maps done by me) but that failed, then I tried to make it a community project but that failed so in the end I canned the whole thing and will just release the cancelled wad for sake of closure.
It adds new textures, music, maps and sprites (and a new weapon over the pistol slot) and if anyone wants to finish what I started then go ahead.
17 out of 32 maps were complete (16 regular, 1 secret) and it would be a shame just to abandon them.68 downloads

Megawad, based on the results of a four speedmapping contests, held on www.iddqd.ru in 2013, with such themes, as winter, thaw, precipices, and ancient civilizations. Maps were finalized some time later (some - very significantly), and several maps were built from scratch. This megawad tells us the fate of the Marine, who was going to celebrate the New Year. Suddenly, however, the monsters changed seasons' offset, and as a result - they stole the winter. We have to go through the mountains, castles and underground crypts, visit the flooded city, a lonely island and even visit the hell's edge before it will be possible to restore the normal course of the seasons. But monsters were prepared for that as well - and with the return of winter, they prepared some unpleasant surprises...150 downloads

Before I say a thing, this is a jokewad for ZDoom (YAY JUST WHAT WE NEED MORE OF!) so if you do not want to play some of the worst maps available (as was the projects intention) then skip this.
This is WOOO, an exhilarating experience into mapping... If it was done by monkeys.

32 map megawad with collections of maps made from different periods of my doom mapping hobby, along with new ones. All old maps are re-polished to make them consistent in look with the newer ones. Maps are "progressively" chained together (so the previous map's end is more or less linked to the next one's start). Difficulty is medium, sometimes hard, but not insane. Experienced players can do it in UV without any problem.
HBFM29.wad: the full version of MAP29. Load this if you think your port/computer can handle the awesomeness (or laggyness) of it. Barely any gameplay difference, though.5850 downloads

My 32-level Megawad for Doom II/Final Doom, it has an MP3 Track for each level and text screen, uses ambient sounds from Doom 3, Quake 2 and others. Also uses textures from cc4-tex.wad and q2tex.wad. Requires Zandronum, skulltag_data.pk3, skulltag_actors.pk3, and cc4-tex.wad and q2tex.wad, all of them (except Zandronum of course) are included in the zip file, and though the Wad is meant to be played with Brutaldoom, it's not required. Overall the difficulty of the Wad is hard, so if you're a casual player, do it on easy, if you're a pro, do it on normal/hard, etc. Most of the levels are very large and may cause low frame rates. Uses enemies and weapons and items from Skulltag (though weapons may not work depending on the Zandronum version used). Read the Doom - Damnation.rtf file if you want more details and are interested in the story.
Follows the story of a space marine present on the planet of Kronos when a demonic invasion hits.174 downloads
