A dark tech themed map. Fairly hard unless you know what you're doing too :P Also (like sjs1) includes new music and textures, by me.

Doom2 map with a lot of episode 1 influence. It's been tested in prBoom and Doomsday Engine, but it should run in any limit-removing port.

  11. UAC - Mutation Complex.V1

This WAD started out as a way of loosing boredom, and I've never attempted to create a Skulltag Single Player map, so I wanted to see what I could do do.. And well, this came out...

Basicly, what this map is about is the original Doom monsters have been taken to a "Mutation Complex" to be tested on, and the Skulltag monster's act as the "Mutated" monsters, I know it's rather random, but it was a way to loose boredom.

Anyway I hope you enjoy it. >:) It took a while to finish.

  12. The Spire 2: Celestial, The Sky Torn Asunder

REALLY REALLY IMPORTANT NOTES YOU NEED TO READ!!! - You need GOTHICTX.WAD to run this map! Links to download it are at the end of the text file. - This map is ENORMOUS. If you have anything less than a 1Ghz processor, don't even bother. - This is probably the hardest map ever made that isn't nuts.wad, with well over 3000 monsters on UV. That being said, I would highly recommend HMP difficulty for most players, as that is more equal to normal UV difficulties.

Since the original "The Spire" did not, oddly enough, feature spires of any sort, Celestial takes place in and outside of an enormous tower. The map is quite non-linear, check your automap if you get lost. Also keep in mind: ALL KEYS ARE DIFFERENT! That means blue keycard is NOT the same as blue skullkey, etc.

    Feedback is appreciated!

  13. SJS1: Streets Of Fear

A map I was planning to use in an 'expansion' for bloodrust that never really got anywhere, so instead I'm releasing it on it's own, as the first in a 'series' of single maps, that I may or may not release more maps for :P. Basically it's some kind of demon-overrun town (at least part of one). Also has a bunch of new textures and a new midi by me.

  16. The seven tongues of Satan

Map with hellish/medieval style that consists of 3 large areas connected by teleporters.

**There is a way to skip the second area so keep your eyes open! - but you will miss a lot of cool stuff then**

This map was NOT built with jumping in mind - so you have been warned if you get stuck somewhere. (There is no way to get stuck without jumping)

If you find yourself lost keep an eye open for changes in the architecture!

Features ALL available weapons from Doom 2 (lots of ammo included).

**I designed this map for playing with jdoom but it runs with zdoom as well (and probably with other source ports)**

Will NOT run with vanilla Doom 2

A pure action level. The Joke is that the only ammo you'll find is the one that dead monsters drop. It's my level #22

Story: The habitants of a small city on an asteroid became crazy and start to eat each other. Before they get you, you must find the hangar and get out of Telex.

  23. Twisted Dimension

Twisted Dimension is the best of my works so far, and also the most creative. It's originally based off of my very old map Death Arena, in which you would enter a room and kill all of the monsters it contained to gain acess to the next room. I 'based' the first few rooms off of Death Arena, but then later started making it much more different. Also keep in mind that this map is somewhat linear, but I'm hoping you'll still enjoy it.

I genuinely enjoyed this mod with its level design and music. It was challenging and interesting and it kept me playing a while after beating it to try to find anything. though I would say it was slightly repetitive and overwhelming with enemies at some moments.

Writing a review for Darkening 2 is tough. It's a beloved megawad, and for good reason. As many other reviewers have said, it is historically a very important project.   It was an important megawad for me personally. I fell in love with the first level in particular. The music, the realistic architecture, so reminiscent of the video games of the 90s... It all left a lasting impression. And it was one of the most beautiful wads I've seen at the time.   But I rarely played anyt

A competently made map, for sure, but fun? It's way too long and repetitive, with same-y combat & ambush scenarios used again and again, and with way too much enemies, and not that much of a challenge, even for me who isn't exactly fond of "SUPER HARD WAD #9263!!!!11!. You can cut the whole thing in half, and then cut THAT half in half, and it would be a better map. Is it bad? No, just a little bit above average, mostly because it drags a bit too long.

Generally good map design, but the difficulty as is the case with pwads tends to be uneven even on HMP, especially when you mix them with what slaughtermaps tend to be (monster spam). Too many parts where, after pressing a switch, you'll spend some time killing enemies only to realise the map maker tried to get cute and spawned a bunch of hidden archviles somewhere to start reviving everyone while you were busy wasting ammo. This is especially unfun in parts with very little cover where you'll b

I like the part where I pay for the numerous murders I committed by getting beaten up by either a Mancubus or an Arachnotron, it changed my outlook on Monster Priority. Thank you "Problematic" Revenant #7, I have yet to find a way to repay him.
