  2. Bombay 72

Ever wanted to take a Baron or Revenant on in a fist (paw) fight on equal terms? Bombay72 recasts the player as a cat patterned after the Bombay incorporating some attributes of the sentient panther-like cat "Couerl" featured in A E van Vogt's short story "Black Destroyer" which later became Chapter 1 of "Voyage of the Space Beagle". Sratch, tear or swipe the enemy, throw flaming balls of fire at them and invoke feline deities Bast and Sekhmet to aid you in wreaking fire and death upon the demons of DOOM!

  7. Immoral Conduct Boom Version. V2

When Cory Whittle first released Immoral Conduct, people were impressed. Unfortunatley, many did not prefer EDGE as their engine. Instead, most people played either a Boom-like port or Zdoom 1.23. This is what it's for.

  9. Guns PC v1.261

This wad is for EDGE (http://edge.sourceforge.net/) It enhances and changes all doom weapons and some items. It works fine with original Doom levels, so it has no new maps. I'm making a level designed for this tho. You can also make your own maps, see the extra.txt for all the new items you can put in your map.

  12. Lock and Load!

For those of you that have played locked.zip/lockedd1.zip, you probably have found a few bugs regarding the enemies, e.g. the don't stop shooting and they're dead-on all the time for accuracy. There's also a few other nasty thing's I've found regarding them, and that's already fixed. I'll be releasing that later. It'll be a Doom I and Doom II thing, so no separate downloads. Also, I will be putting hte DDFs in the wads so you don't have to make any special directories. Anyways...yes, there's a story to this (gotta explain all the weapons and such, eh? :P)

The Story So...don't even think about saying it!

Alrighty, you're a space marine comissioned by the UAC to go to mars, yadda yadda yadda, and the base is destroyed and comrades are slaughtered. But, never fear for oyu have your trusty sidearm AND trusty SMG. What, thought you'd be goin' in with very little? Well, you were wrong...in a good way, for once. Anyways, you discover all of the UAC's toys on Mars, as well as a few other things, and these'll all be on Earth, too, when you return to kill the demons there...yes, they have invaded earth, those dirty bastards!!

  13. MACVILEWHORE'S COOL SUPER IMP PATCH

This patch allows you to add in a COMPLETELY NEW MONSTER (Green super imp) to any level, without replacing ANYTHING, just add thing #23 to your map (dead lost soul) and you get this sw33tass new monster, which doesn't replace ANYTHING, though it won't show up on in the end credits with all the other monsters. Thanks to Enjay for the tutorial :>

  16. dt-sin2 (dehacked version)

An update / replacement of dt-sin2, now with 143% more quality! See bottom of text file for more info. Replaces all of Doom II's weapons with those of SiN. The only weapon I didn't do is the "spider mines" I admit my prior laziness, so now you can use this patch with a superior engine!

Also, this uses alternate weapon skins, so they look alot better now (no fruity blue gloves!)

  20. Bubblegum Crisis DOOM Version 1.2.

Updated to the previous version of Bubblegum Crisis DOOM (version 1.1). Changes are: : Version 1.1 had all resources betweeen the S_START and S_END Lumps, which caused ZDOOM to think they were Sprites. I fixed it so that any data including face graphics, title screen graphics, musics, and sounds are not where the sprites are. : Some Sprites were putted in as Alpha DOOM sprites, which made it unviewable in Wintex, my preferred editor for WADs. Using Wintex, I extracted all the resources of the WAD and then modified the BG-2000 Eliminator hand, so it's no longer blue. : removed any wasted space with NWT, which I only use for cleaning up Wasted space in WADs. : Fixed Dehacked patch text strings. DEHACKED lump is in WAD file so no one has to use the -deh parameter if you use ZDOOM, MBF, SMMU, or any other Source port with Dehacked in wad Support. : Added new DSPDIEHI Sound, using the DSPLDETH and a ROTT Sound as a Basis (ROTT Sound is "YOU SUCK!") : Tested with some TCs like HACX, Ghostbusters DOOM 2, Army of Darkness, etc. Don't try to run this patch with Batman DOOM, otherwise it causes troubles with the TC by ACE Team Software. Here are the results: : Batman DOOM: messes it up HACX: Works superbly. Army of Darkness: Works fine, but no Palm Blast. Ghostbusters DOOM 2: Uses sprites from other Weapons, so they are mixed up, but the patch works Here. : All TCs and PCs were not tested with this Patch. : Used the DSBFG sound from Otakon DOOM, the one in the Bubblegum Crisis DOOM Patch v1.1 was too wimpy. : Included one Screenshot from each TC I tested on to prove that the Bubblegum Crisis DOOM Patch will Work on those TCs. : Plus many other Bug Fixes.

  21. Crazy Doom v2.0

Five new monsters, some graphics, and a heap of wacky sounds for Doom, Ultimate Doom, or Doom II. This is one of the first patches I converted to wad format back in early 1997. It was distributed on local BBSs at the time but now I can dust it off and put it on the net for all to enjoy ;)

The only changes from the original are: - added some graphics: titlepic, m_doom, stdisk, and endoom. - added extra copies of the sky textures for use with Doom II.

I genuinely enjoyed this mod with its level design and music. It was challenging and interesting and it kept me playing a while after beating it to try to find anything. though I would say it was slightly repetitive and overwhelming with enemies at some moments.

Writing a review for Darkening 2 is tough. It's a beloved megawad, and for good reason. As many other reviewers have said, it is historically a very important project.   It was an important megawad for me personally. I fell in love with the first level in particular. The music, the realistic architecture, so reminiscent of the video games of the 90s... It all left a lasting impression. And it was one of the most beautiful wads I've seen at the time.   But I rarely played anyt

A competently made map, for sure, but fun? It's way too long and repetitive, with same-y combat & ambush scenarios used again and again, and with way too much enemies, and not that much of a challenge, even for me who isn't exactly fond of "SUPER HARD WAD #9263!!!!11!. You can cut the whole thing in half, and then cut THAT half in half, and it would be a better map. Is it bad? No, just a little bit above average, mostly because it drags a bit too long.

Generally good map design, but the difficulty as is the case with pwads tends to be uneven even on HMP, especially when you mix them with what slaughtermaps tend to be (monster spam). Too many parts where, after pressing a switch, you'll spend some time killing enemies only to realise the map maker tried to get cute and spawned a bunch of hidden archviles somewhere to start reviving everyone while you were busy wasting ammo. This is especially unfun in parts with very little cover where you'll b

I like the part where I pay for the numerous murders I committed by getting beaten up by either a Mancubus or an Arachnotron, it changed my outlook on Monster Priority. Thank you "Problematic" Revenant #7, I have yet to find a way to repay him.
