  1. Punch-Out!! Modification WAD

This is a simple Modification WAD for advanced Doom engines. It turns the Pistol into Fists, and removes all the other weapons in the game. Combine this with WADs made for boxing, such as "NEWBOXE.WAD," and you've got yourself a winning combination.

  3. MoD's fun weird dehacked patch thingy

A little dehacked patch I made a few weeks ago, just thought it was kind of cool(and so do the people I showed it to). Some of the baddies are different(but the imp is kinda fucked up). It also has a version of THE GUN in it, hope you know how the bfg works to get full use out of it! ;) oh, and it has the BFG from lost soulsphere: gold edition in it(HHHHHH),

  4. Dissolving Bodies

Has your Mother ever told you Guys to clean up your mess after you. Well with this patch you can do just that ;-) Got the idea from Eric Herrera and it looks pretty cool especially with Edmundo's great MD2 models. If you like it use it... if its not to your taste then just trash it. Just place "-deh disolve2" or "-deh disolve1" in the command line depending on what Doom you use.

ZDoomGL users, make sure the BLOODPOOL is offset to 1.0 in the MD2.ini otherwise it may appear broken in appearance. Keep on Dooming

  6. Generic PWAD DeHackEd patches

These DeHackEd patches clear all the map names and episode texts, which apply only for the genuine game, and not add-on maps.

PWAD.DEH is for The Ultimate DOOM, and PWAD2.DEH is for DOOM II: Hell on Earth v1.9.

  7. BoomDoom

This DeHacked patch turns bullet puff and revenant homing missile trails into rocket explosions with splash damage. It also makes hitscan weapons fire faster. However, actually using the rocket launcher causes a monster to telefrag you and the fist is worthless now. Try playing through Doom or Doom2 with this wad, or maybe even deathmatching with it.

  8. Caco's Revenge

Okay... This is basically a dehacked patch that makes all the monsers supercharged and more powerful than normal, except for the caco, which is now harmless, but invincible. Well, it first started because my little 6-year-old sister likes doom as well (despite her young age :), except that for some strange reason, she likes the cacodemons and doesn't like to kill them. Please, don't laugh, it's not my fault that she's like that. Anyway, after getting repeatedly killed by those darn cacos that I'm not allowed to kill, I Started to make a Dehacked Patch that turned the Cacos into harmless floating "shields". However, while I had dehacked fired up, I decided to change all other monsters, too. So there you have it, the stupid story behind this strange dehacked patch. See below for changes.

This is the DEH patch I made for AV. It was included in the last AV distributuion, but as an EXE, so I decided to upload this for those poor souls addicted to "ports." And now since http://doomsearch.com exists it will be easier for people to notice/locate a separate DEH file.

Also, I've included a tiny WAD that fixes the 0 (zero or zed) font which appears with the level names in automap mode.

  12. Blood "Enhancements" and New Weapons 1.3 (Not very original) Don't you have anything better to do?

A bunch of things that I downloaded from the Doom FTP Archives and put together in a WAD file that probably violates a few copyrights. Even worse, I had to go and "touch up" some of the graphics, so they may or may not look "better." At the very least, I can say that it looks better than a majority of the "ultra gore" and "super weapons" stuff available, even if only because some other people have no standards.

  13. QUAD (version 2)

Four DeHackEd patches which modify the Shotgun guy, and test levels for both Doom and Doom2. The four patches are:
QUAD.DEH - the Shotgun Guy now shoots a Quad Shotgun with twice the power of the Super Shotgun.
QUADRUSH.DEH - as above, but now he rushes towards you as he attacks.
OH----!.DEH - a Shotgun guy with an even more powerful shotgun - one shot and you're dead!
SYCOSARG.DEH - as above, but once again he charges as he attacks.

QUAD2.WAD - the test level has been modified from the previous version - all the monsters are now Shotgun Guys, so you can try out different fighting strategies sequencially (having unmodified monsters in the test level was confusing before). The monsters are still behind glass doors so you can observe them like rats in cages! Levels for both Doom and Doom2 are now included in the one wad file.

  14. Ultimate Chaingun Combat (version 2)

They're all different, unique kinds of chainguns. Here's a brief summary:
    Pistol: a regular, semi-slow Chaingun.
Shotgun: the Shock Rifle. You just keep loading ammo into this thing, and each time you pull the trigger, it fires all the ammo you have.
Super Shotgun: the Super Shock Rifle. Has a wider spread than the Shock Rifle.
    Chaingun: THE Chaingun. Devistating.
Rocket Launcher: Hollowpoint Bullet Chaingun. Fires slowwer, and the ammo is scarce, but this weapon does very serious damage.
Plasma Gun: Just an adapter for the chaingun that makes the bullets into tracer rounds (so you can see where you're shooting). It's also much more precise.
BFG: The Spreadfire Cannon. Pack 50 bullets into this thing and pull the trigger. Covers the entire screen with gunfire. Kills almost everything you can see... instantly.

  15. new2.zip

This zip file contains 2 Dehacked 3.0 patches, one which modifies the monsters in Doom2 (newmon.deh), and one which modifies the weapons in Doom2 (newgun.deh). Obviously, you should use both of these simultaneously; running newmon.deh by itself will be next to impossible, and running newgun.deh alone will give you way too much power.

The two modifications are well balanced and bug free. I've tested them extensively on 30 levels of Doom (I forgot to modify the Nazis, oops! :) and they work just fine. I currently find them more enjoyable than the original Doom... weird, but true. I guess after 5 years of the same thing, some variety is fun :)

  19. Anyone who needs this is a WUSSBOY!

If you're having trouble on "I'm Too Young To Die" with that pesky first enemy of the game, then this patch is for you! All enemies: 1) go at half speed, 2) can't shoot, and 3) light up in dark rooms. Also, the Spectres are fully visible. The only enemy whose "weapon" I left is the final DOOM ][ boss (because you're still in no danger from him). Finally, exploding barrels and rockets do no radius damage. The only threat left is acid floors. Dangerous, huh? The only disadvantage (besides the game being boring as hell) is that this makes rockets do less damage to what they hit, and you have to aim perfectly or no damage.

  20. The Arch-Mage

I hope you all have heard of D2xGold, but since you probably haven't, here goes: http://www.doomshack.com/doom2x This site will lead you to the original versions. Doom2x is a series of TCs involving Comtar of the X-world, who has taken over the Icon of Sin and is using that to take over the Earth. These TCs have their bad points--most stuff besides the Dehacked patches are reused, a lot of the graphics/sound replacements are kinda cheesy, the difficulty is unfathomable--but for all the series's bad points, D2xGold has at least one good point: the Technomage. This enemy has graphics and sounds reused from Hexen, but it's a completely new enemy that'll stick in your mind WAY more than that other mage. (What was its name? ) This is because the Dark Bishop's (oh yeah) graphics and sounds fit the Technomage's evil, frustrating nature.

However, I know that few people know of D2xGold, and few have fought with this horrible entity. So, I've created this: the Arch-Mage. The Archvile is replaced with a mockup of the Technomage that looks and sounds...vaguely like him and acts exactly like him. Good levels to find Arch-Mages are Levels 11 and 28; Level 23 will really show you you their power but only after a romp through part of the level.

This patch is designed to give a brief preview of this horrifying enemy. The Arch-Mage is relentless and mobile, and its powers are lethal. But this is only a taste of the fear-inducing Technomage, which is only one of the many new enemies of D2xGold. Want more? Visit the Doom2x Homepage and download away!

  22. The Living Barrels

Every enemy is a living barrel. There are four types: slime-filled, blood-filled, tar-filled, and crap-filled. They all act the same though. When the barrel knows you're there, it will go after you. As soon as it's next to you, it will blow up on its own. In levels with a lot of enemies, you will find yourself running for your life. NEVER run out of ammo, or you're doomed!

  23. LifeBuilder v1.0

Alters two weapons. The Plasma Gun (now the Life Beam) fires a bullet with damage -1! Enemies can get REALLY strong. The BFG is now the Reviver. It actually brings enemies back to life (mostly the minor ones only, and you need a dead body to aim for. It WON'T work on the players!). Get up close to the enemy, shoot, and if it works he should "die in reverse" and attack you on the spot. It and the Life Beam both have unlimited ammo. I also changed the codes around (look in the MISC. section or email me for them), and I included my trademark -- the monsters infight.

  24. The Cybermarine v1.0

So, you think a Cyberdemon has it easy, huh? Well, you couldn't be more wrong. Every marine attacking him has glowing yellow eyes and a BFG that, amazingly, never runs out of ammo!

...Anyway, this DeHackEd patch will turn you just about completely into a Cyberdemon. You walk at a different speed, and still make those marine "oof" noises (no way to replace them in DeHackEd), but you: - Start with 4000% health. (Cyberdemon has 4000 hit points.) - Only shoot rockets. - Look like a Cyberdemon (except the mug shot on your status bar. Draw a new face yourself!). - Have 1000 mass. - Are BIGGER.

Sounds like a dream, doesn't it? Well, here's the catch -- try fitting through the first corridor you come to!

I included my trademark: the monsters infight.

I genuinely enjoyed this mod with its level design and music. It was challenging and interesting and it kept me playing a while after beating it to try to find anything. though I would say it was slightly repetitive and overwhelming with enemies at some moments.

Writing a review for Darkening 2 is tough. It's a beloved megawad, and for good reason. As many other reviewers have said, it is historically a very important project.   It was an important megawad for me personally. I fell in love with the first level in particular. The music, the realistic architecture, so reminiscent of the video games of the 90s... It all left a lasting impression. And it was one of the most beautiful wads I've seen at the time.   But I rarely played anyt

A competently made map, for sure, but fun? It's way too long and repetitive, with same-y combat & ambush scenarios used again and again, and with way too much enemies, and not that much of a challenge, even for me who isn't exactly fond of "SUPER HARD WAD #9263!!!!11!. You can cut the whole thing in half, and then cut THAT half in half, and it would be a better map. Is it bad? No, just a little bit above average, mostly because it drags a bit too long.

Generally good map design, but the difficulty as is the case with pwads tends to be uneven even on HMP, especially when you mix them with what slaughtermaps tend to be (monster spam). Too many parts where, after pressing a switch, you'll spend some time killing enemies only to realise the map maker tried to get cute and spawned a bunch of hidden archviles somewhere to start reviving everyone while you were busy wasting ammo. This is especially unfun in parts with very little cover where you'll b

I like the part where I pay for the numerous murders I committed by getting beaten up by either a Mancubus or an Arachnotron, it changed my outlook on Monster Priority. Thank you "Problematic" Revenant #7, I have yet to find a way to repay him.
