GPL pour Deutex/DeuSf, pas de probleme. Pour WinTex ca serait bien, mais comme il est fortement lie a Visual Basic (3.0, obsolete, impossible a se procurer) c'est sans interet.
English translation :
I have no problem with releasing DeuTex/DeuSF under the GPL. Doing the same with WinTex would be good but pointless as it's strongly tied to Visual Basic 3.0 which is obsolete and unvailable.

DeuTex Shell v1.1
By Guest
This is just a simple C program that allows you to run the Doom .wad file compiler "DeuTex" from a DOS text-based menu. It has been tested with DeuTex 3.6.
The DeuTex command line can be tricky sometimes and most parameters need to be in a certain order. DeuTex Shell will compose the command line for you from the menu selections you make and run DeuTex. This way you don't need to type a long, complicated command line and get error messages because you put the parameters in the wrong order.4 downloads

WinTex 4.3
By Guest
WinTex lets you customise your DOOM, HERETIC or HEXEN levels beyond what is possible with level editors. It let you replace sounds, musics, and monster sprites, and let you create new wall textures, floors and ceilings. And it will collaborate with your level editor.
WinTex also lets you browse the .GRP files from DUKE NUKEM 3D.
Note: WinTex 4.3 has very limited support for Quake. Visual Basic is close to exhaustion when dealing with Quake...229 downloads

DeuTex/DeuSF 3.6 (Linux version)
By Guest
Features of DeuTex:
- reverse engineer existing PWAD
- compose your own wall textures, reusing DOOM patches or adding your own patches as bitmaps (.BMP)
- add your own floors (still quite tricky. see manual)
- add your own sprites (a bit tricky. see manual)
- replace the ressources you want in all PWAD (missions, sounds, graphics,...)
- simple WAD creation directives (text file)
- simple directory structure (for the ressources)
- work in batch mode (like a compiler). (see manual\deutex.txt for details) - compatible with the level editors (like DEU)
Feature of DeuSF:
recreate a complete sprite and flat PWAD from a partial sprite or flat PWAD and the main WAD of DOOM.15 downloads

WinTex 3.4 source code
By Guest
This is the source code for WinTex 3.4, a tool to customise DOOM and HERETIC WAD files under windows.
It's in visual basic 3.0 plus C extensions.
the needed DLL is included.
If you intend to reuse a large part of this code, or release a new version of WinTex, you will have to keep me informed, in order to avoid problems with my own releases.
This copyrighted program can be reused freely, so long as I get some credit (well, me and the guys that helped me, indeed).20 downloads

DeuTex manual
By Guest
This manual incorporates all the text files included with DeuTex. It also contains additional information inserted by me in an attempt to make it flow better and be easier to understand. I have tried to correct typos in the original text files and reformat the text for readability and printing reasons. The APPENDICES have been revised and the soundlist completely overhauled with corrections and additions of DOOM II sounds.25 downloads
