    Ghouls versus Humans is a class based deathmatch Wad which will bring the horrors of The Ghoul’s Forest to the deathmatch arena! Players will be able to choose from the three main ghouls from Ghoul 3 or three different types of humans. Each human and ghoul has it’s own unique abilities, strengths and weaknesses. Whether it be team based deathmatch or team last man standing, Ghoul vs Humans is a game mode that is not to be missed even if you hate the ghoul series!

    Allows any CTF map to be played in the Harvester game mode, based on the respective mode from Quake 3: Team Arena. To play, load the mod and start any CTF map under "teamgame".

    Requires Skulltag 97d3 or later. I think 97d2 can be used if the CLIENTSIDEONLY flag is removed.

  7. PYEwad (Skulltag Version)

    A collection of maps made by random people you don't know! These maps were made for no reason but for fun. Please Enjoy. Each map (with one exception) will comfortably fit 4 people minimum. I know you are never going to read the read me ( I never do), so... What up? Let me tell you a bit about PYEwad. PYE was in development fo 2 years because Crisandwitch is lazy and OCD. Once the 'final' was up something would be out of place and would have to change. Hopefully what is left will be a near flawless map... not counting plain bad design on some of the maps. Each map tries to have a different theme; for a few of them we went beyond doom, Snowball fight anyone?

    A Deathmatch map designed for anti-gravitation combat. You start in a small room, you just have to activate the ANTI-GRAVITY SWITCH, and then pick one of the three scenarios. You can choose between a Nazi Temple (number 1) a big Storage Area (number 2) and a sealed city area (number 3). Oh yes, I almost forgot, if you want something easy just enter the surprise teleporter (For Campers)

  14. Vertigone II: Ruins of Vertigone

    This was the sequel to my first DM map, Vertigone ...hence the 'II'. If I had known more about mapping and detail, the original would have looked something like this since the original concept was some sort of floating ruins. The map is fairly large and can easily handle 16+ players for all types of DM and DM-variant games.

    I re-released the map in STLMSv3.wad with some tweaks. I made some texture pallete changes and reorganized the maps layout so that it flowed and played better. Both versions play ok, so that's why I decided to keep this version as a seperate, playable standalone map.

  15. Pyrethrum

    "Pyrethrum is a small powerplant located on the firey satellite, Io. After various freak accidents during UAC's portal experiments, the plant was abandoned. Years later it was recommisioned for use, but it was found that the past portal experiments that took place there left most of the machinery unoperable. So UAC turned it into a training area for new space marine recruits. The plant's old mass waste compactor has been turned into a nifty deathtrap for those who try to get their hands on the BFG10K, making for some interesting training exercises."

    That was the description I wrote for this map when I initially created this readme. I'm not entirely certain why I thought a deathmatch map needed a back-story...but I digress. Pyrethrum was the second deathmatch map I made after discovering the Skulltag port. The map is very rough because of that. The concept behind the layout might be ok, but it's entirely too cramped in most areas and flow could be way better. At the time, I believe I was more interested in making the map look nice than making sure the gameplay was solid.

    This map is more of a experiment, i want to see if a map that has details like the first doom and decent gameplay can score good reviews without having to put any extreme detail into it and at the same time make sure the level does not look like crap. The map is short and not very hard, but i never intended it to be hard or long.

      I genuinely enjoyed this mod with its level design and music. It was challenging and interesting and it kept me playing a while after beating it to try to find anything. though I would say it was slightly repetitive and overwhelming with enemies at some moments.

      Writing a review for Darkening 2 is tough. It's a beloved megawad, and for good reason. As many other reviewers have said, it is historically a very important project.   It was an important megawad for me personally. I fell in love with the first level in particular. The music, the realistic architecture, so reminiscent of the video games of the 90s... It all left a lasting impression. And it was one of the most beautiful wads I've seen at the time.   But I rarely played anyt

      A competently made map, for sure, but fun? It's way too long and repetitive, with same-y combat & ambush scenarios used again and again, and with way too much enemies, and not that much of a challenge, even for me who isn't exactly fond of "SUPER HARD WAD #9263!!!!11!. You can cut the whole thing in half, and then cut THAT half in half, and it would be a better map. Is it bad? No, just a little bit above average, mostly because it drags a bit too long.

      Generally good map design, but the difficulty as is the case with pwads tends to be uneven even on HMP, especially when you mix them with what slaughtermaps tend to be (monster spam). Too many parts where, after pressing a switch, you'll spend some time killing enemies only to realise the map maker tried to get cute and spawned a bunch of hidden archviles somewhere to start reviving everyone while you were busy wasting ammo. This is especially unfun in parts with very little cover where you'll b

      I like the part where I pay for the numerous murders I committed by getting beaten up by either a Mancubus or an Arachnotron, it changed my outlook on Monster Priority. Thank you "Problematic" Revenant #7, I have yet to find a way to repay him.
