Well, it's looks like the UAC has had all it's prisions filled: so the only way to get rid of inmates is to throw then into a series of arenas with a few other 'mates, and let them try and outdo each other, and kill each other. Jeez, that's sounds like fun....throw me in a arena with a plasma rifle, and a couple of democrates, and i'll show ya a darn good time! ;)

  8. DeathTown

Kick ass WAD for deathmatch, smaller area than all my other WAD's but hey it's better for two players to actually see each other once in a while!!!

Based in a relatively small city/town surrounded by an acid moat. Each building can be entered to pick up weapons and gain vantage points of nearby streets. Fast and action packed.

  9. TRAPPED!

A deathmatch only level. It is relatively small, but that makes it better for deathmatch play. It's full of traps to set for your opponent (hence the title), but I'll leave you to find them all. (after all, it's no fun to play if you know that you that you are going to beat your opponent every time, is it) I recommend that you use ALTDEATH, as otherwise the level quickly runs out of ammo, and don't use turbo as it messes up the stepping stones section.

  10. SATANIC DOOM v1.1

One of the best patch of levels ever written for DOOM. Detailed and realistic construction on each of the levels. Great gameplay and realistic effects (light sourcing, smart placing of barrels, etc...) And wait 'till you see Multiplayer mode... Believe me, try these levels, you won't regret it... This is version 1.1, slightly upgraded to fix some bugs and add some things... I also made the levels slighly harder...

Awww, forget the formal page. This level is based on stolen.wad. We took a good thing and tweeked it. We being Me and Andre.

This wad is an absolute blast! WARNING you have to be very good at doom to enjoy this. The keen will frag the most. This level is small, so it will work good on crappy computers.

  13. Spooky Deathmatch

This is the deathmatch level of the Spooky series. It will probably be the secret level to my Spooky episode. I can't really "set a mood" - this level is designed for pure deathmatch (2.0 recommended). It's a medium size, but due to clever circular design coupled with strategic windows, in a 3 or 4 player game you can almost always see an opponent.

  14. TimeWarp

This is a deathmatch only level for DOOM I designed with the altdeath mode in mind. It is a smallish level without the chainsaw, plasma rifle, or BFG. What it does feature is good solid deathmatch action (what else?). It has been extensively playtested with 2-4 players and has gone through a few revisions to arrive at its current state.

: Basically, a circular design with connecting hallways through the middle, and a few side hallways. All the weapons are here, and unlike some deathmatch wads, there are many areas where fighting is common. Lots of ways to back door your targets!

  18. SIC_EM !!! A DOOM I DEATHMATCH WAD

An experts' DEATHMATCH WAD. For those who demand the best fraggin they can get. Oh, it's pretty to look at, as well.

I designed this for my friends and me who, are becoming quite good at killing each other. I don't recommend this WAD for groups who are not closely matched or for beginers. If, however, you and your friends are looking for a great place to show off your skill, here it is.

As in my previous levels everyone starts with either the shotgun or chaingun. A new twist is the ready rooms where you pick up your weapon and some ammo before teleporting into the fray. The rocket launcher, the plasma rifle and the BFG all require some effort to achieve. If you try for the BFG or the power globe (hit the two switches in the middle) more often then not someone else will get to them before you do. This definitely a "more the merrier" type of WAD. Not big but, a definite slugfest with three or four players.

There is a co-op exit in the SE corner. the switch in the NW opens it.

As a note to other level editors: I believe I have achieved the most visplanes in view possible with out crashing the game. In fact if you look at the NE and SW corners you'll see where I had to cut the corner to keep a player from getting back far enough to see a part of the ceiling. If you clip backwards from there the game will crash.

Please enjoy this WAD and share it with others.

  19. Haunted Space Ship

You have just found a derelict space ship orbiting a planet. The crew is missing or has been transformed; there are just zombies roaming all parts of the ship--the bridge, the holosuite, the transporter room, the engine rooms, and the empty shuttle bay. There are also various floating creatures haunting the ship and outside in space. A small shuttlecraft, also abandoned, is near the ship. On the planet, you find only unearthly creatures stalking through abandoned ruins. Thus you get to battle in the vast reaches of outer space and the sometimes cramped areas the ship. There are plenty of windows to shoot in and out of (you can shoot through any of the windows but you can't shoot through the transparent doors unless they are open. An adequate supply of ammunition is scattered about the ship and all of the weapons are available, though you are going to have to *want* the rocket launcher or the BFG9000.

  20. TOURNEY 003

This file was created especially for a VGC (Virtual Gaming Center) tournament (see TOURNEY5.VGC and RESULT.T5 files included within this ZIP).

It has sniper points, 4 main rooms, jousting halls, and most weapons placed in interesting places. As with all of my maps, I like making things "fair" and to have a cost/benifit in getting the weapons.

This is a tight little wad with lots of narrow cooridors and a couple secrets. All of the weapons are available, although the rocket launcher and the BFG are a bit of a *pain* to get. There's a couple little goodies thrown in, like the micro-maze room.

  23. UNHOLY-X.WAD

Unholy Cross. An E1M1 deathmatch level designed for 2-3 players. This PWAD is designed around a tall central room containing a massive fiery alter. There are all the weapons except the BFG (it ruins DM) and several concealed sniper points. You also can use the slimy one-way sewer to your advantage.

  25. TreeDM1.WAD

A deathmatch designed with fun and balance in mind. The feeling of this level is fairly open, just a few largish rooms and some interconnecting passageways. It's not intended to be a frag-fest, but more of a fair competition. (Average life span is greater than 5 seconds... :)

Everyone has a weapon nearby when they start, generally within 10 or 20 feet. All players start with 200% health, to make the battles a little longer lasting. The deathmatch spots are designed to eliminate unfair "start-up frags".

Every weapon is available, although it is more and more difficult to get to the more powerful weapons. There are some weapons sitting in cages, with a switch next to 'em; hit the switch to give access to that weapon elsewhere in the level. A quick rundown: Rocket launcher: switch and weapon itself are in the arch-room. Plasma: has two triggers, the switch and walking on one of the ledges. BFG: The easiest weapon to get, but you pay if you do. Or, go the hard way (no secrets involved, but still a long ways to get there), find the BFG-in-a-cage, and get it that way. You'll be off free as a bird. Super Shotgun: (Doom ][) Check the green room.

It's a very good idea to play this level with the alt-death rules. The exit switch is clearly marked, non-coop, and can't be hit accidentally.
