Lemmings Doom v1.1 Demo
A graphics, sound and music wad for Doom II v1.9
This is a modified version of LEMMI10D.WAD (version 1.0).
Original author : Mark a.k.a. TheGoof
Version 1.1 mods : Sparky of KISS Software kelm@eisa.net.au
Mods made by Sparky of KISS Software:
- removed the wasted space from the wad which almost halved it's size.
- fixed the transparent background colour of the sprite graphics.
- cleaned the m_doom logo and centered it on the screen.
- increased the sample rate of the sounds to the Doom 'standard'
11025 samples/second (thanks to DeuTex 4.4.0 by André Majorel).
- added a DeHackEd patch (for Doom II v1.9) and modified the blood
splats and Imp fireball to allow for the height of the diminutive
Lemmings.
To use Lemmings Doom with 'Plain Vanilla' Doom II, you'll need to
create a replacement exe file using lemmi11d.deh and DeHackEd v3.1.
You'll also need to add the extra sprite graphics to lemmi11d.wad using
a program such as DeuSF, NWT or WinTex (i.e. deusf -as lemmi11d.wad).
A much better option is to use a Doom Source Port which can import
DeHackEd patches and pwads containing sprite graphics, such as:
Boom, PrBoom, MBF, SMMU, PrjDoom, ZDoom, Legacy, etc.
The following command line will work with all these source ports:
-deh lemmi11d.deh -file lemmi11d.wad
Note: the green-haired Lemmings aren't too bad, but look out for the
little blue-haired guys with the foul mouths.
