* Level information *
MAP01 : Hyena - trwhite@fgbc.org
Level title: Oh Crap, I Forgot To Tape Alias
Comments from Hyena: I procrastinated way too long to create this short map. I think it has the E1M1 feel to it with a little bit of a twist. I challenged myself to make an E1 level with no zombiemen. So naturally I made it really cramped for good old fashioned shotgun combat. Sargebaldy hated it. Hope you like it.
MAP02 : Epyo - We don't know.
Level title: ???
Comments from Epyo: (Epyo not available for comment due to the fact that he sucks.)
MAP03 : Danarchy - ralmevik@yahoo.com
Level title: Power Base Alpha
Comments from Dan: When I made this level I was thinking 'Nuclear Plant', as in E1M2, so I started off with some cooling towers which ended up just being a water tank, but that still worked. The rest of the base on the other side of the blue doors is supposed to represent part of a larger base (the rest of E1) and is basicaly just a corridor with some side rooms. I tried sticking to the E1 theme by using star* and brown* textures, and also adding a lot of windows and outside areas, which seem to be prevelant inKnee Deep in the Dead. My favorite thing in the level are those computer columns I put in the hallways, inspired by my favorite DN3D map called beta_one. I started withusing that shitty Doom2 monitor texture, but when we got the Doom1 textures, I happily changed it to the current texture which worked excelently.
MAP04 : Ralphis - ralphis@zdaemon.com
Level title: Goatse Anomaly
Comments from Ralph: When I designed this map I had 2 things in mind. The first thing was the classic eerie feel of a doom level. There's nothing better than getting a little nostalgia while playing user made wads. The second thing was goatse. Goatse was really an inspiration for this map and I'd like to send out my thanks to him. Enjoy :)
