About This File

"FULL ON" is an exciting addition to DOOM.
- E2M1 From Scratch! This is great starting place
- E2M2 The Warehouse; from scratch, this place is full of hiding places and tricks. Also a great Deathmatch PWAD. Shoot it out in a Wholesale Warehouse amongst the aisles or pick them off from high places.
- E2M3 The Refinery; from scratch, full of hiding places.
- E2M4 The Testing Labs; from scratch, think you can do it by yourself? I think not!
- E2M5 The Administration Complex; from scratch, Another fun place to hang out.
- E2M6 thru E2M8 have been altered originals DOOM episodes. They have been removed by the uploader in order to avoid copyright problems.

Short, fun, cool, interesting 94 mini episode.

I liked it. There's some tutti fruity and HOM in places, but overall the map design is interesting. It's not as polished as njdoom.wad but still fun to play if you like old school wads. Too bad later levels are missing, maybe full version is in some shovelware CD?

It's a shame it lost it's last 3 maps, but it's still got a great atmosphere and is one of my favourite classic wads.

Though this is surely not the worst of all '94-maps, it's still not worth the download. Gameplay is very easy overall. There are boss monsters, many of them, but they're mostly easy to cope with. The looks are uninspired and boring. Bare rooms, no details, neglectfully textured. And the gameplay has some flaws, too. Often you have to pick up ammo or health, even if you don't need them, 'cause otherwise doors won't open. 1/5 -Milian

This doesn't quite cut it as "classic." My first map was better than all of these combined. **

I genuinely enjoyed this mod with its level design and music. It was challenging and interesting and it kept me playing a while after beating it to try to find anything. though I would say it was slightly repetitive and overwhelming with enemies at some moments.

Writing a review for Darkening 2 is tough. It's a beloved megawad, and for good reason. As many other reviewers have said, it is historically a very important project.   It was an important megawad for me personally. I fell in love with the first level in particular. The music, the realistic architecture, so reminiscent of the video games of the 90s... It all left a lasting impression. And it was one of the most beautiful wads I've seen at the time.   But I rarely played anyt

A competently made map, for sure, but fun? It's way too long and repetitive, with same-y combat & ambush scenarios used again and again, and with way too much enemies, and not that much of a challenge, even for me who isn't exactly fond of "SUPER HARD WAD #9263!!!!11!. You can cut the whole thing in half, and then cut THAT half in half, and it would be a better map. Is it bad? No, just a little bit above average, mostly because it drags a bit too long.

Generally good map design, but the difficulty as is the case with pwads tends to be uneven even on HMP, especially when you mix them with what slaughtermaps tend to be (monster spam). Too many parts where, after pressing a switch, you'll spend some time killing enemies only to realise the map maker tried to get cute and spawned a bunch of hidden archviles somewhere to start reviving everyone while you were busy wasting ammo. This is especially unfun in parts with very little cover where you'll b

I like the part where I pay for the numerous murders I committed by getting beaten up by either a Mancubus or an Arachnotron, it changed my outlook on Monster Priority. Thank you "Problematic" Revenant #7, I have yet to find a way to repay him.
