Other Files By Author : DooM ForeveR (1997, compiled and released in APRIL 2004)/ atmosphere (DooM ForeveR: EPISODE II---to be released SOON!!!!)
Misc. Author Info : This wad is a re-release of DooM ForeveR. The levels are cleaned up, detailed, and in some cases, totally made over from scratch.
I wanted DooM ForeveR to bridge the gap between itself(EPISODE I) and atmosphere (EPISODE II).Since most of DF's levels were made
in '97, some levels were a bit dated and some levels lacked gameplay/eye candy. This release takes care of proper node building,
updating the look and feel graphic wise to be on par with current wads, fixed gameplay and monster placement, and even threw
in some legacy opengl effects(everything from colored lighting, 3dfloors, etc....).
Description : Doom Forever: EPISODE I takes place on an overun UAC nukage facility located on the planet X-9 in the galaxy of Zeta Reticuli.
New gun animations (a reworked version of the "atmosphere" sprites to update the gun graphics)
tweaks to gameplay/monsters.
new sounds.
new objects/sprites.
new textures.
1 new monster (other than SS replacement)
map 06- totally new wad.

Editor(s) used : Photoshop, Wintex, (Dee/DeepSea-1997-2002), Doom Builder.
Known Bugs : DON'T run this with anything but Legacy(open GL).
Things people consider "buggy": Map06: Big map, lotsa sprites. Sprites in the distance may "dissapear" in the fashion of old polygonal
racing games. Its not too annoying. Maybe later versions of Legacy will increase the sprite amount.
The end boss IS meant to do what he does. Be creative.
The "earthquake" may appear slow at first. Just walk around a sec. This was hard to do for obvious reasons,
(take a look at the map in Doombuilder). I tried to get everything working as best I could.
