About This File

This is a 32 map wad with various changes in the looking of the Doom 2. Most of the graphics were changed, as well as the weapons and some enemies. It has new enemies and weapons for ZDoom, increasing the gameplay. It also brings some new enemies for Doomsday Engine.

I liked it as a mod overall, some nice variety to monsters and weapons make the game feel fresh, but some of the maps feel like they've been clumped together like clay by a two year old. Transissions and cross overs between sections aren't as pretty as I felt they could have been. Also I noticed a large amount of the work, ie, monster sprites, behaviours, textures, weapons, had been stolen from various authors.

Well, it starts off pretty good but then fades. At first the gameplay is pretty fun and it has this old school feeling. New weapons were cool and so were new monsters. However past level 10 this wad becomes ridiculous and tedious. You have incredibly unbalanced monsters like Vixens appearing and the mapping gets tired. Levels suddenly become huge, random and they don't feel like playing DooM anymore. I think this should have stayed an old school like wad. 3/5

the combonation of some great design and the extra weapons/monsters/ite ms makes this an enjoyable and fun wad. Some of he computer consoles are hard to find, but thats probably because I suck :P Excellent job Daniel, 5/5 - Homer

If you can ignore all the rips (and if they are integrated well i can, and here they are) this is still legendary for the mansion level alone, a triumph of nonlinearity and atmosphere

I thought it was pretty good. A little hard on some levels but still a lot of creativity. The level I liked was the city level from the original NeoDoom. It's the perfect environment to battle evil and use groovy weapons. Over all I think this wad was pretty good. -Alando1

Simply awesome. Three years of working on this has definitely paid off! I always kept guessing on what weapon I will get next or what new monster I will face. The themes of the WAD were well played out, and changes as you progress. However, one small problem is that the grenade launcher can blow up in your face on rare occasions, and I preferred the GL from ARSENAL (with the alt fire you can aim vertically). Anyway, congrats to you Daniel. Five out of five!

I don't know. The pornographic Vixen destroys the feel of the game; they're too strong and are just stupid and immature. Plus the Duke Nukem monsters just don't fit in and the rats and rocket zombies are a pain in the ass and I despise the new zombie voices. Yet the level design and most of the new weapons are pretty good. 3 out of 3.

Please re-release this without the new weapons or new enemies. Theire decorate coding dont work with the newest version of zdoom. Plus, the new weapons and new enemies were very annoying and unnecessaray. 3/5 for the new levels. the new weapons and enemies bring down the experience exponentinally.

What the hell is Daniel's problem with Doomworld? All that aside, this is a great wad. Lots of interesting new weapons and items, great levels and a lot of fun! So despite some minor issues, the occasional porn in the levels (WTF?) and the author's attitude, I'll give this one 5 stars, which I rarely do.

The graphics are better than ever. Use cheats like "IDFA" and you will think John Carmack himself did the wad! Thank you, Daniel, you don't need to create more levels, because you have outdone yourself with this wad! The music is at its best. Yes! Perfect!

there was way too much porn, i find it sick when people use a game like doom and ruin it with f__king boobs >{. but to be honnest, if you look past the huge ammounts of porn, then with all the great levels, monsters and weapons including the cool textures, it makes up for the huge porn. 5/5

      I genuinely enjoyed this mod with its level design and music. It was challenging and interesting and it kept me playing a while after beating it to try to find anything. though I would say it was slightly repetitive and overwhelming with enemies at some moments.

      A competently made map, for sure, but fun? It's way too long and repetitive, with same-y combat & ambush scenarios used again and again, and with way too much enemies, and not that much of a challenge, even for me who isn't exactly fond of "SUPER HARD WAD #9263!!!!11!. You can cut the whole thing in half, and then cut THAT half in half, and it would be a better map. Is it bad? No, just a little bit above average, mostly because it drags a bit too long.

      Generally good map design, but the difficulty as is the case with pwads tends to be uneven even on HMP, especially when you mix them with what slaughtermaps tend to be (monster spam). Too many parts where, after pressing a switch, you'll spend some time killing enemies only to realise the map maker tried to get cute and spawned a bunch of hidden archviles somewhere to start reviving everyone while you were busy wasting ammo. This is especially unfun in parts with very little cover where you'll b

      I like the part where I pay for the numerous murders I committed by getting beaten up by either a Mancubus or an Arachnotron, it changed my outlook on Monster Priority. Thank you "Problematic" Revenant #7, I have yet to find a way to repay him.
