About This File

This is a medium sized map that I made. It has lots of green textures on the walls and on the floors.

Nicely detailed, short and fun. Well,. yes preety much reminds me of simplicity, I had enough of these kind of looking WADs. But always enjoyable, I won't care about looking like a copy with nothing new. 4/5 - Optimus

Was fun, I wish the final battle was just a little more intense, but very nice overall.

Just your average Doom Level. You start, go inside, kill some monsters and exit. Good architecture and level design and challenging balanced gameplay. 4/5 -PC

Great, just what we need, another boring Simplicity-inspired level...This one added an annoying colour scheme and had some trouble with ammo and health balance. It was passably nice looking though, so I'll give it 2 stars.

Is it just me or Agent Spork maps should be done only by Agent Spork? Although it wasn't terrible it was lacking of variety... and ammo. On the other hand small ammount of ammo made fights more interesting, unlike other wads. 3/5 - Zalewa

Very short and simple, but it does what it sets out to do and that's good enough. Nice clean design, with that thing whereby there are transparent panels in front of unidentifiable techno wall coverings. Simple scripting. Absolutely straightforward, and seems like one of the filler levels from Nintendo 64 Doom though. Odd secrets, in that the first one has the big boom-stick whereas the last one contains four (4) shotgun shells.

Very cool, if it was only longer. Then it would really be the shit. 9/4/07

This map is quite nice but unfortunately it's very short. It has a new palette, very similar to the UDM3 palette, where I like the blue of the water very much. Everything seems to have a slight yellow-greenish touch. The layout is goodlooking though quite simple and with not much variation in lightings. Gameplay is controled by some scripting. This map is like the beginning of an interesting map. Too bad it's over before it even begins. 3/5 -Milian

A very nice level! The corridors had a good degree of detail, and the outside areas looked nice. Gameplay could use some variety, though. The scripting was a nice touch. A definite four stars.

I genuinely enjoyed this mod with its level design and music. It was challenging and interesting and it kept me playing a while after beating it to try to find anything. though I would say it was slightly repetitive and overwhelming with enemies at some moments.

Writing a review for Darkening 2 is tough. It's a beloved megawad, and for good reason. As many other reviewers have said, it is historically a very important project.   It was an important megawad for me personally. I fell in love with the first level in particular. The music, the realistic architecture, so reminiscent of the video games of the 90s... It all left a lasting impression. And it was one of the most beautiful wads I've seen at the time.   But I rarely played anyt

A competently made map, for sure, but fun? It's way too long and repetitive, with same-y combat & ambush scenarios used again and again, and with way too much enemies, and not that much of a challenge, even for me who isn't exactly fond of "SUPER HARD WAD #9263!!!!11!. You can cut the whole thing in half, and then cut THAT half in half, and it would be a better map. Is it bad? No, just a little bit above average, mostly because it drags a bit too long.

Generally good map design, but the difficulty as is the case with pwads tends to be uneven even on HMP, especially when you mix them with what slaughtermaps tend to be (monster spam). Too many parts where, after pressing a switch, you'll spend some time killing enemies only to realise the map maker tried to get cute and spawned a bunch of hidden archviles somewhere to start reviving everyone while you were busy wasting ammo. This is especially unfun in parts with very little cover where you'll b

I like the part where I pay for the numerous murders I committed by getting beaten up by either a Mancubus or an Arachnotron, it changed my outlook on Monster Priority. Thank you "Problematic" Revenant #7, I have yet to find a way to repay him.
