Note by the uploader : E2M2 has been first released as BREVIL.WAD;
E2M3 as BRNASTY.WAD; E2M4 as BRKILLER.WAD. Each
of them separately in zips with the same
filename. There has then been also an older
version, BRETT1.WAD, that had only the first four
levels. I added the title 'Brett's Hell' from the
template of that earler version for this WAD to
the title of this /idgames -upload. It makes it
more moody. I hope, that coimes close to the
intentions of the creator.
The next version, BRETT2.WAD (Title: BRETT2
Version 1.0), added a fifth level and music for
each level. The version 1.1, BRET2AWE.WAD, that
comes in this upload, has other music than v.1.0,
optimized for the Soundblaster AWE-3. Since the
music is apparently the only difference between
1.0 and 1.1, i have extracted the music from
BRETT2.WAD and included it as brett2mus.wad
into this package, because some people might take
the different melodies as essential for the mood.
... At least i do! ;) By this way, you don't miss
anything. In order to hear the music from the
older version, you have just to add the
brett2mus.wad after BRET2AWE.WAD to your
command-line.
