Finally the last part of Gamarra's story has seen the light of day. Are you ready for this episode? Here's an explanation of the maps. In E1M1 you have to fight in some offices invaded by hell. In E1M2 you have to fight in a strange base full of traps. This is the only map that contains special effects. In E1M3 you have to fight in some warehouses. In E1M4 you have to kill a virus that infests Gamarra's pc. In E1M5 you will know Wills' destiny. In E1M6 you have to disinfest a hotel occupied by monsters. In E1M7 you have to explore Gamarra's hell. In E1M8 you will know the truth about Gamarra. E1M9 is a secret. For more informations (level names, Easter eggs and notes) go to the end of this file.

Bland, huge areas, mostly full it, poor item placement and typical Italian emotions in E1M9 because the author could not accept criticism. I think we have come a long way since the troll wad era back in the 2000's, me included. The Gamarra series is pretty much a long forgotten thing over 10 years later.

I'm sorry Giulio. But your experiment is not working very good. And those wall messages in E1M9 drive these insane people mad. You have to realise many people don't take gaming as a hobby, they take it very seriously. Not me though. But I'm encouraging you to re-think how you make maps, and try and do something more authentic, more darker and Doom like and get away from the Gamarra series.

In E1M9 there is a message on the wall and it says "I HOPE THAT THIS TIME NOBODY GIVES ME 0/5!!! ;-). Well, after playing through this boring and impossible mess, humm I'll try my best to give you some sort of rating. I'll give you an 0.1/5 because thats better than a 0.0! -PC

This is an all-new episode in the Gamarra series (it isn't simply a compilation of the previous Gamarra maps). This means that there are now eighteen Gamarra levels, sadly not enough for a Megawad. The Gamarra levels are all about the total experience, rather than level design or gameplay, and this collection is no exception; the levels are large, undetailed, monster-packed, unplayable, and they do not have the Strength of Susan. It was nice of Mr Galassi to thank me.

at least the ruba wads have a sense of improvement with each of his/her releases. These Giulio Galassi/glassyman wads do not. There seems to be no effort at all to improve on the mapping and the gameplay. 0/5

      I genuinely enjoyed this mod with its level design and music. It was challenging and interesting and it kept me playing a while after beating it to try to find anything. though I would say it was slightly repetitive and overwhelming with enemies at some moments.

      A competently made map, for sure, but fun? It's way too long and repetitive, with same-y combat & ambush scenarios used again and again, and with way too much enemies, and not that much of a challenge, even for me who isn't exactly fond of "SUPER HARD WAD #9263!!!!11!. You can cut the whole thing in half, and then cut THAT half in half, and it would be a better map. Is it bad? No, just a little bit above average, mostly because it drags a bit too long.

      Generally good map design, but the difficulty as is the case with pwads tends to be uneven even on HMP, especially when you mix them with what slaughtermaps tend to be (monster spam). Too many parts where, after pressing a switch, you'll spend some time killing enemies only to realise the map maker tried to get cute and spawned a bunch of hidden archviles somewhere to start reviving everyone while you were busy wasting ammo. This is especially unfun in parts with very little cover where you'll b

      I like the part where I pay for the numerous murders I committed by getting beaten up by either a Mancubus or an Arachnotron, it changed my outlook on Monster Priority. Thank you "Problematic" Revenant #7, I have yet to find a way to repay him.
