*Level Information*
Map01:
Level Name : The Fortification
MIDI : Biowar: Map04 - "The Arrival"
(original origin unknown)
Bugs : ...
Inspiration Points : Doom 64 - "Unholy Temple"
Authors comments : Just a stone fortification, like an old
abandoned fort. Be sure to look behind you after
you notice the wall behind the cacodemon lowering...
Map02:
Level Name : Arachno-Falls
MIDI : Requiem: Map06 - "Natas Ot Etubirt"
Bugs : ...
Inspiration Points : none
Authors comments : Nice subterranean bloodfall and river...
Once the cyberdemon is spotted, it's better to head
right, not left.
Map03:
Level Name : The Truculent
MIDI : Biowar: Map12 - "Military Center"
(original origin unknown)
Bugs : ...
Inspiration Points : none
Authors comments : none
Map04:
Level Name : Tainted Grounds
MIDI : Doom 2: Map20 - "Gotcha!"
Bugs : ...
Inspiration Points : Master Levels - "Geryon"
Authors comments : Once getting a key, it's best to run out of that
particular area if you want your life spared.
Map05:
Level Name : The Tower
MIDI : Doom: E2M6 - "Halls of the Damned"
Bugs : ...
Inspiration Points : Doom 64 - "Altar of Pain"
"Unholy Temple"
Authors comments : none
Map06:
Level Name : The Confrontation
MIDI : Requiem: Map16 - "Escape from Chaos"
Bugs : ...
Inspiration Points : none
Authors comments : This level is a simple one-direction chokepoint
with rooms that increase in difficulty the further
you proceed.
Map07:
Level Name : Beyond Hardcore
MIDI : Doom: E3M8 - "Dis"
Bugs : ...
Inspiration Points : Doom 64 - "Hardcore" ('nuff said)
Authors comments : This map sets a good example of what the 666
and 667 tag effects will do. Get the invulnerability
artifact once you can.
Map08:
Level Name : The Assault
MIDI : Requiem: Map02 - "Sacrificium"
Bugs : ...
Inspiration Points : Final Doom - Plutonia: "Aztec"
Authors comments : Whatever you do, do NOT hit all the switches
at once! After that, choose your door...
Crossing the slime bridge will probably take a
couple of tries.
Map09:
Level Name : The Stronghold
MIDI : Doom: E1M3 - "Toxin Refinery"
Bugs : ...
Inspiration Points : none
Authors comments : Find a way to open the other doors. I guess you'd
better head straight. Whoh, look out behind you!
Map10:
Level Name : Stone Fortress
MIDI : Final Doom - TNT: Map10
Bugs : ...
Inspiration Points : none
Authors comments : These "fortress" levels seem to be the most eerie
levels I've made so far. Nice and dark...
If it seems too quiet, think again.
Map11:
Level Name : The Barrier
MIDI : Doom 2: Map28 - "The Spirit World"
Bugs : Slight sprite overload
(only with the original exe)
Inspiration Points : Doom 64 - "The Absolution"
Authors comments : Once out in the open, you'll feel a little
déja vu.
Get the yellow key, and then...you decide.
Map12:
Level Name : Marble Fortress
MIDI : Requiem: Map05 - "The Canyon"
Bugs : Once passed "The Barrier," the sky flat will
not change to the night sky flat unless if you
warp to this level or above.
(Or maybe it just effects my game)
Inspiration Points : none
Authors comments : Another eerie "fortress" level. This time, it's
based on a marble motif.
Pillars give the right touch to make this map
interesting.
Map13:
Level Name : Deep Down...
MIDI : Requiem: Map17 - "Dens of Inquity"
Bugs : ...
Inspiration Points : Momento Mori 2: Map19 - "The Shaft"
Authors comments : none
Map14:
Level Name : No Limits
MIDI : Requiem: Map10 - "The Black Gate"
Bugs : ...
Inspiration Points : Doom 2: Map08 - "Tricks and Traps"
Authors comments : Is it me or does this level resemble the original
Doom levels? This is probably one of the most
complex maps I made.
Once pasted the barons at the stairs, do not go
through the door on the left. Otherwise, you'll
probably regret it.
Map15:
Level Name : The Tower II
MIDI : Requiem: Map24 - "Procrustes Chambers"
Bugs : ...
Inspiration Points : Doom 64 - "Altar of Pain"
"Unholy Temple"
"Dark Entries"
Doom 2: Map21 - "Nirvana"
Authors comments : Once at the "Nirvana" part of the map, look
near the radiation suit...
Map16:
Level Name : Slough Base
MIDI : Biowar: Map13 - "UAC Prison"
(original origin unknown)
Bugs : ...
Inspiration Points : Doom 64 - "Tech Center"
Final Doom: TNT - "Crater"
Authors comments : none
Map17:
Level Name : Awaited Arrival
MIDI : Biowar: Map02 - "Terror Core"
(original origin unknown)
Bugs : ...
Inspiration Points : none
Authors comments : none
Map18:
Level Name : Magma Fortress
MIDI : Final Doom - TNT: Map16
Bugs : Visplane overflow - blue key area
Inspiration Points : none
Authors comments : One of the biggest maps I built.
Unlike Stone and Marble, this "fortress" level
seems to have a more lively feel.
Map19:
Level Name : The Green Hell
MIDI : Requiem: Map03 - "Poison Processing"
Bugs : ...
Inspiration Points : none
Authors comments : none
Map20:
Level Name : Portal
MIDI : Final Doom: TNT - Map06
Bugs : Incomplete map
Inspiration Points : Visplane overflow - northernmost room and inside
center
Authors comments : none
Map31:
Level Name : The Barons' Temple
MIDI : Momento Mori 2: Map24 - "Io Lab"
Bugs : Secret exit, but no 2nd secret level.
You'll enter "Grosse" if you take the secret
exit.
Inspiration Points : none
Authors comments : This level has 4 sections: marble, wood,
magma, and of course, stone.
Do not ignore the map name. It means exactly
what it says.
