About This File

DuduKrazy's Guns III is the third installment on the DuduCrazy's Guns weapon mod series.(fourth if you count DuduCrazy's Guns SE) The mod is heavily inspired by the japanese culture, as well as some games like Shadow Warrior, the Shinobi series (16-bit era), etc.

For this mod, I would rate four stars. While not all features were perfect in implementation, the mod definitely had a seal of quality with some items that were within it (the ninja scroll was the primary example of this, at least for me).

seems like a really awesome mod, but idkfa crashes zdoom. ssg's kick back should be lessened or done away with entirely, and the sword deflection was a really neat feature... 3/5

The hell are you people talking 'bout, crashes? Get a better rig ya numbnuts. About the wad though, I really don't see anything special, frankly I don't really care about this mod seeing I played it from the first released beta version to this one and really don't see any interesting changes. The only funny thing would be the wall jumps... 3/5 - D.W.

A lot of nice ideas here, but ultimately I gave up on it because one of the weapons that goes in slot 5 -- the automatic whatever -- is such an incredible bitch to use. The monsters can kill you just while that thing is gearing up.

Cool stuff... Don't know what some of these loons are talkin about, bitchin about stuff, except the dude that is talking about one of the weapons that goes in slot 5, takes a long time to power up and that makes it not that practical to use in actual gameplay. But I have a little tiny problem with the ninja scroll...... I HAVE NO IDEA HOW TO USE IT! lol and hence have no idea what it does or its purpose. Does anyone know how to use this? I'm anxious to use it! Thx!

the kickback that's on most of the weapons makes this virtually impossible to use if you use classic controls, but if you are a mouse and keyboard kinda guy this works pretty well

Pretty cool stuff, my only problem would be the sword slashing animation. As it just doesn't look like a good way to attack with a sword.

IDKFA or Give All seems to cause a CTD on GZDoom and ZDoom...

I genuinely enjoyed this mod with its level design and music. It was challenging and interesting and it kept me playing a while after beating it to try to find anything. though I would say it was slightly repetitive and overwhelming with enemies at some moments.

Writing a review for Darkening 2 is tough. It's a beloved megawad, and for good reason. As many other reviewers have said, it is historically a very important project.   It was an important megawad for me personally. I fell in love with the first level in particular. The music, the realistic architecture, so reminiscent of the video games of the 90s... It all left a lasting impression. And it was one of the most beautiful wads I've seen at the time.   But I rarely played anyt

A competently made map, for sure, but fun? It's way too long and repetitive, with same-y combat & ambush scenarios used again and again, and with way too much enemies, and not that much of a challenge, even for me who isn't exactly fond of "SUPER HARD WAD #9263!!!!11!. You can cut the whole thing in half, and then cut THAT half in half, and it would be a better map. Is it bad? No, just a little bit above average, mostly because it drags a bit too long.

Generally good map design, but the difficulty as is the case with pwads tends to be uneven even on HMP, especially when you mix them with what slaughtermaps tend to be (monster spam). Too many parts where, after pressing a switch, you'll spend some time killing enemies only to realise the map maker tried to get cute and spawned a bunch of hidden archviles somewhere to start reviving everyone while you were busy wasting ammo. This is especially unfun in parts with very little cover where you'll b

I like the part where I pay for the numerous murders I committed by getting beaten up by either a Mancubus or an Arachnotron, it changed my outlook on Monster Priority. Thank you "Problematic" Revenant #7, I have yet to find a way to repay him.
