Description : The map is small and deceptively simple, but there are lots of secrets and intentional red herrings. You definitely should not immediately charge off with guns blazing, as that will only get you killed. There are visual hints as to what you should and should not do. Proceed cautiously, and examine everything.

NOTES:
Hornet.wad was created by me in either late '94 or early '95 during the height of the Doom craze for me and my friends. For some reason the time stamp on the WAD says '93, but I know that's wrong.
The level was originally designed for deathmatch, with little secret corridors, switches and walls so my friends and I could frag each other all over the place from hidden rooms and pitch-black corridors. After that was figured out, I went back and did enemy placement for single player and co-op. It is possible to complete the level -- which requires finding a hidden exit -- with 100 percent secrets and without cheats, even on the hardest setting.
Looking back at this now, there are lots of things I would tweak or change, but since I created this while I was still a teenager, I'll cut myself some slack. Hopefully my love for Doom back then still shines through, no matter how clumsy the attempt. If you enjoy this level at least a small percentage that my friends and I did back in the day, then I've done my job. Doom on!
