Description : Here's a 6-map episode for Doom 2. It's called "A Taste for Blood".
These maps, ranging from small to large, hopefully combines good detail and atmosphere with, at times,
strong difficulty. All maps are pistol-start-friendly and intended for. :)

Music : No
Graphics : Textures and sprites from The Return. Textures from Gothic II/DM, Recolored Doom, Malice TC, Quake (q1tex), Plutonia, and from Paul Fleschute's own collection.
Possibly from other sources too. I also made a few texture changes on my own to stock textures.
I apologize for the large size of the resource wad, for many textures that aren't used, but I'm using basically the same resource wad for my upcoming megawad.

* Play Information *
Game : DOOM2
Map # : Map01-06
Single Player : Yes, designed for
Cooperative 2-4 Player : Yes, some maps supports co-op. Those maps are Map01, 03, and 04. While 05 and 06 do have all player starts, they have no added monsters, ammo or health.
Deathmatch 2-4 Player : Yes, some maps do. Those are: Map01, 02, and 03. I'm not good at adding quality DM-play to my maps though, and it will show. :)
Difficulty Settings : Yes, all skill levels except "Nightmare" are supported. The skill levels should hopefully suit all players.
May not run with : Any port that doesn't at least support Boom with MBF.
* Construction *
Base : New levels from scratch
Build Time : A long time, I used bits and pieces from different projects of mine for this.
Editor(s) used : Doom Builder 2, WhackED 2, Slade 3 and Paint.
Known Bugs : Texture misalignment bugs here and there. Possibly other bugs as well.
* The Story So Far *
The Commander General speaks to you:
- The Earth is once again under attack from terrible demons from Hell. And this time, they seem to have brought a curse with them, that causes infected humans to not only
become the zombies we're used to see, but to develop an insatiable hunger for blood. Once bitten, humans die and become monsters without empathy and without soul.
Once this state has occured, only death can save these humans from their evil desire...
The EEF (Earth Evacuation Facilites) (tm) is doing their part of course, but there's no way that they can get to enough people in time.
- So you see, Marine, this is no easy task we all have ahead of us.
- Many squad teams are being sent out to different places to try and defeat hellspawn as well as any of these former humans that's now inflicted by this curse.
Your mission is to clear out a few spots yourself. Three tech-bases and a few city areas need your immidiate attention, soldier! There's no time to waste,
so go out there and kill as many as possible of these hellspawn that's responsible for the curse, but also kill as many of the human monsters as you can,
for there really is no way to save them. And we need to clear out the bloodcursed as soon as possible, they constantly infect new innocent people,
we better act fast if there are to be any humans left to save.
- So grab your trusty pistol and get ready for action!
