this is no way better than any of joe-ilya's maps, which are actually good. this wad is entirely hallmarked by shit designs that tell us this is beginner material, fucking annoying music, annoying secrets (getting a BFG in the first map is never a good idea for a multi-level wad especially of this one), and combat isn't anything to even write home about. there's even key doors that actually can be opened without keys. everything about this is real bad.

The only remotely good map was the secret Quake level remake, and that was only good because I like Quake in the first place.

All of the other maps, especially that secret "Labyrinth" map, were total wastes of time I didn't even bother to properly run though. I just did a combination between the ol' IDKFA and noclip and skimmed over them.

Just, please, put more time into them. Scythe 2 wasn't made in a day.

Simple layout maps, annoying music, resemble a beginner mapper. But fun to play and it's way better than joe-ilya maps, at least the author knows how to balance a map.

You are overpowered. It was some fun, until I met stealth archville... So many extremely easy to find secrets, some texures misaligment, weird design. Not signed exits on each map. Well... this wad is a f... crap. But for quake-like level 2*.

Spend more time making one good map. Compare your work to existing works, see it's shortcomings, and try again. 1* for effort, put a bit more elbow grease in next time.

WTF, I'm playing DooM since Christmas 1993, and this is the first time I managed to find 8/7 secrets (map02, ZDoom 2.7.1)... Chapeau for author making this possible. Having said that, I seriously wonder what the point is of uploading this shit. Obviously author is free to waste his time the way he likes to, but when he uploads it, he forces others to waste their time too. 1* for the effort - 1 * as discouragement for uploading this kind of DooM misuse = solid 0*.

      I genuinely enjoyed this mod with its level design and music. It was challenging and interesting and it kept me playing a while after beating it to try to find anything. though I would say it was slightly repetitive and overwhelming with enemies at some moments.

      A competently made map, for sure, but fun? It's way too long and repetitive, with same-y combat & ambush scenarios used again and again, and with way too much enemies, and not that much of a challenge, even for me who isn't exactly fond of "SUPER HARD WAD #9263!!!!11!. You can cut the whole thing in half, and then cut THAT half in half, and it would be a better map. Is it bad? No, just a little bit above average, mostly because it drags a bit too long.

      Generally good map design, but the difficulty as is the case with pwads tends to be uneven even on HMP, especially when you mix them with what slaughtermaps tend to be (monster spam). Too many parts where, after pressing a switch, you'll spend some time killing enemies only to realise the map maker tried to get cute and spawned a bunch of hidden archviles somewhere to start reviving everyone while you were busy wasting ammo. This is especially unfun in parts with very little cover where you'll b

      I like the part where I pay for the numerous murders I committed by getting beaten up by either a Mancubus or an Arachnotron, it changed my outlook on Monster Priority. Thank you "Problematic" Revenant #7, I have yet to find a way to repay him.
