Having recently tried the Mystery Science Theater 3000 sound patch found on
the evil D!Zone CD, and finding it less then perfect, I've decided to finally
release my version (which is much better, IMHO).
This puppy has been sitting on the HD of my old 486/33SX since April of last
year, when I, having nothing better to do, decided to root through my
extensive collection of MST3k episodes to find some appropriate SFX. The
results are pretty cool; at least I think so.
Here's where I pulled a few of my fine FX from:
Pistol- Cheesy machine gun sound from "Warrior of the Lost World"
Level end Click- The Forklift Song from "Fugitive Alien"
Rocket Firing- "Croooooow!" from the opening
Teleport- from the "My White Goddess" skit (Jungle Goddess)
Various Elevator Noises- "good natured brawling" skit from "Hercules and the
Captive Women"
Player Grunts (falling)- When Crow falls from the ceiling following the
third skit in "Magic Voyage of Sinbad"
(pushing)- "Design for Dreaming" from "12 to the
Moon"
Imp Clawing sound- Jack Perkins being zapped with a cattle prod (Fugitive
Alien)
Door opening and closing- The door sequence before or after each skit
Plasma Gun- "Ole!" from The Forklift Song
Slop- Joel improvising during the "Secret Agent Super Dragon" rag
Punch- The meat slammers from "Cave Dwellers"
Player Death- Tom Servo's death scene from the first skit of "Star Force"
Player Wound- From the "Ode to Pants" song ("Hercules Against the Moon Men")
Enemy Death ("Rest in pants?")- Also from "Ode to Pants"
Enemy Death ("Femme Bot" "Space Swish")- "Hellcats" opening credit sequence
Have fun, Misties!

SHAMELESS PLUGS:
Anime fans might like to check out BGCDOOM.ZIP, which SHOULD be on
ftp.cdrom.com, _somewhere_. Just make sure you have a properly configured
version of Dehacked v2.3 (you wouldn't believe how many E-mails I've gotten
concerning this).
And fans of OFF should try my Cacodemon --> Homer J. Simpson head PWAD
(filename HOMERHED.ZIP), also on ftp.cdrom.com. Turn cacodemons into donut-
spitting Homer heads! Hours of fun!
