Title : ROBV.WAD
Authors : Robert Reid, Vimal Vijayapalan.
Email Address : wreid@iconnect.net.au
Misc. Author Info : We live in Portland, Victoria, Australia etc and are
both 15 and a half years old.
Description : One very big level, with anything and everything we
could think of in it that we could get to work or
wasn't too hard to put in it. This is our first
WAD, and probably one of our only ones. I don't like
imps, so we didn't put many in, but instead put lots
of Cacodemons (I like them).
There is an oil rig in it, and a few open spaces. We
designed it with everything in mind, including
multiplayer and deathmatch, although it is fairly
easy on multiplay, maybe we should add another
Cyberdemon. <G>
After you've played this level, E-Mail us and tell us
what you think of it.
History : This map was originally created for Doom 1 because
we only had an old editor and was E1M1. It was
started early in 1995, and because it was only for
Doom 1 it only had a few different types of monsters.
We then stopped working on it for a while, so not
much was done on it for a long time. Then we got a
new editor and resumed work on the WAD, so it was
converted to MAP01 and ran under Doom 2, so all the
monsters and other items were revised to make it
better. On 16 Dec 1995, it had a proper ending added
to it, so I guess it was sort of finished then,
however the map will keep having revisions added to
it forever. This version was finished 10 Jul 1996
when we finally finished it and fixed up all the
bugs.
Additional Credits to : Geoff Allan for his superb doom editor, and
ID Software for creating Doom and Doom 2.

Base : A totally new level, with bits from everything we

Build Time : FAR TOO BLOODY LONG, oh, um, I mean a little longer
than I hoped. I don't really know how long it took,
but we just kept working on it now and then, and it
ended up taking more than a year on and off, but
even then it will never be totally finished.

DoomEd 4.2, both by Geoff Allan.
