"I'm creshing your head!" -Mark McKinney
And now, since nobody at all has asked for it, I give
it to you.... Headcresher Doom! Everything is pretty self-
explanatory once you get it loaded, so, let's talk about
getting it loaded, shall we? We shall.
CINTO.BAT -- Format: Cinto <sprite pwad>
This must be in the same directory as Doom.wad and dmgraph.
If you have a pre-existing sprite-pwad made, use this to
insert Headcresher graphics into it.
CMAKE.BAT --
This must be in the same directory as dmadds, Doom.wad and
add.wad. What it will do is make a sprite pwad called
Crush.wad. After you have made this pwad, you can treat the
graphics in it like you would any other pwad... except do
_not_ use the -r switch on dmgraph to remove graphics.
Instead, just replace them with your own.
(Important note: CMAKE.BAT will only work if you are using
the registered version 1.2. If you are using Eric Leung's
excellent 1.6 registered patch, or his not-so-excellent 1.5
registered patch, dmadds will not work. If you have used his
patch and want a sprite pwad, e-mail me at
tokamata@linex.com.
I have no clue as to how dmadds will work with the official
ID registered patch, as it is not out at the time of this
writing.)
CPERM.BAT -- Permanently alters your doom.wad. (not
recommended)
Once you have crush.wad or <yourwad>.wad made, load it along
with crush1.wad. Crush1.wad contains sound effects and the
status bar patch.
You can do whatever you like with this patch, only if you
use it, please include my name and address along with it.
This sentence is a disclaimer. I will not be blamed if
something really nasty happens to your doom.wad or computer.
Don't worry, it probably won't.
If you want any help, or just want someone to bitch at, please
feel free to e-mail me. The only thing I _don't_ want to hear
about is the graphics. They were scanned, then modified to fit
the Doom pallete. If you really care, you might consider
drawing me some....

Thanks to:
Claude Martins -- for providing the PWAD and BAT files which
I worked off of
Jack Grahm -- for drawing the lovely bandaids and the box
David Halusic -- for letting me use his scanner.
If this goes over well, or at all, I have ideas for more head
creshing weapons.
