==================================
This is a DOOM2 conversion of my previous upload, Homer.wad, which was
designed for the original DOOM. However, I've made some improvements
this time around. Those of you who played Homer.wad remember that it was
impossible to find all the secret areas unless you were in either DEATHMATCH
or no-clipping mode. In Homer2.wad, you can explore the entire map
without cheat codes. Also, I've added a new huge secret area to make
it more DEATHMATCH friendly. So even if you've already played Homer.wad,
you'll might want to give this one a try anyway.
As with my first wad, I've tried to avoid many of the mistakes that WAD
authors sometimes make. So, no spider masterminds, no cyberdemons, and
(since this is DOOM2) no pain elementals to trip you up (I really hate pain
elementals.) The exit is clearly marked, so you won't be tricked
into finishing the level by "accident." There should be enough armor,
health, and weapons for you to be able to finish the level without cheat
codes, even in Ultra-Violence. As far as I can tell, there are no
places to get "stuck". No HOM or other bugs. A lot of work went into
building this WAD, and a lot more went into converting it for DOOM2 --
and, hopefully, it will show.
Look for more uploads from me in the future. In the meantime, happy hunting.
