Calling for early adopters in Doom 2016

I got a question for those who played Doom 2016's multiplayer before Unto The Evil was released - is the regular EMG sidearm (not Mark V) is included in multiplayer? I was watching the preview video for the multiplayer modes saw it being briefly flashed in the screen at 0:44 seconds in.

The pistol wasnt included in multiplayer until the first dlc, that was an early video preview, so i guess they took the pistol out before release
