freedoom wads

i searched for them but couldn't find 'em.

anyone mind pointing me in the right direction?

In theory, if FreeDoom is done right, all Doom wads are FreeDoom compatible.

I would also suggest playing any of the Cacoward winning mapsets. Most are pretty damn good - https://www.doomworld.com/cacowards/
