Immorpher Posted July 7, 2018 Hello everyone, I compose music inspired by Aubrey Hodge's work on Doom 64 and Quake 64. If you're a fan of such soundtracks, I released a free album entitled "Ataraxia" today. All of these compositions were made with a custom synthesizer I programmed with custom effects as well. I would be more than happy to let modders use my tracks, or if wanted I can compose some exclusive ones. Hope you enjoy! You can download for free on:https://immorpher.bandcamp.com/album/ataraxiahttps://soundcloud.com/immorpher/sets/ataraxiahttps://www.youtube.com/channel/UC63VIPOgIiAsAk7MSyN1eJQ 11 Quote Share this post Link to post
NightmareMan Posted July 10, 2018 (edited) Totally inspired by Audrey's style. I think my favorites are Ëÿa and Gwam Swolíst so far. Also I think your music would perfectly fit in a D64 sequel. As a suggestion I would say it would be nice if you put more sound effects like distorted sounds of animals and bells, like in Spawned Fear or The Bleeding. My ears are hooked since yesterday. Keep up the good work. Edited July 10, 2018 by NightmareMan 2 Quote Share this post Link to post

Keep up the good work. Oh ya, Hodges is awesome with incorporating disturbed sound effects! It was especially creepy as well when he used that crying baby. Since I programmed my synthesizer myself I don't have it set up yet to add pre-recorded audio to it. But I have been invited to do a remix project, which will require that, so I will program audio importing eventually! Glad you are enjoying it. 1 Quote Share this post Link to post

I was inspired when I seen similar music posted on YouTube by DeXiaZ and DUDEMAN321 using Hodges' soundfont. I wondered if I could do custom sounds in a similar style in homage to Aubrey Hodges (also Akira Yamaoka too to be fair). If you need more I have a previous album as well: I have a Facebook page which I try to keep everything updated: https://www.facebook.com/immorpher/ 2 Quote Share this post Link to post
Reisal Posted July 19, 2018 I gave the stuff the listen and I like what I have heard. The longer tracks I have a fondness for. 0 Quote Share this post Link to post
Average Posted July 21, 2018 Checked this out through the day and I really like it. You should package it up in a WAD to compliment the new release of D64D2. :) 0 Quote Share this post Link to post
