NuMetalManiak Posted October 19, 2018 I have way too many to list. I'd say for relaxingly decent gameplay, pcorf's maps always have you covered. 3 Quote Share this post Link to post
joepallai Posted October 19, 2018 https://www.doomworld.com/idgames/levels/doom/d-f/diopatra one of my all time favorites for just roaming around and exploring the place. The ending is kind of weak, but for me it's all about the non-linear middle. I've played this at least once a year since I found the map on one of those shovelware disks. 0 Quote Share this post Link to post

joshthenesnerd Posted October 20, 2018 iwad content: KDITD, shores of hell (they are the classics and the best of the original doom) pwads: switcheroom (i have raved on switcheroom a lot, but if you have beaten doom1 all the way through play dtwid and then play switcheroom you will have a good time) gameplay mods: colourful hell and legendoom. these 2 mods are amazing and when put together they turn e1 from walk in the park to more challenging than i bargained for 2 Quote Share this post Link to post

Optimus Posted October 20, 2018 I replay some pretty oldschool maps, knowing they won't turn out to be slaughter maps, while I enjoy some of the old design choices. Right now I was trying some TNT maps, starting with Icarus and then I have Eternal Doom in the list. I am not sure if I ever played them, so this is also historical curiosity, and known they won't turn extremely difficult, and will notice some weird texture choices here and there while also some interesting for the time ideas. I also always revisit Dystopia 3, Requiem, Alien Vendetta, Revolution when I want to relax and don't have the patience to search for new WADs. 1 Quote Share this post Link to post

Baratus Posted October 25, 2018 Requiem is my favourite levelset to go to. I usually play with mods that make the combat feel faster an a bit more twitch, so playing unmodded would probably be the most relaxing option for me. If I need to de-stress then I'll pop in something like Russian Overkill or Trailblazer and wreck everything for a few minutes until the demon's complete lack of resistance gets a bit uninteresting. A good experience, but better for short play sessions. 0 Quote Share this post Link to post
leodoom85 Posted October 25, 2018 Epic 2 is my all-time favorite wad and I play it vanilla or modded. I usually play it in summer or in a random day...kinda a habit that I have with this wad. 1 Quote Share this post Link to post
