Ruisu Posted September 2, 2018 Hello, I was doing a wad, I'm new at creating wads for doom, and I do not know how to explain what happened, so look at the pictures. Ah, im using Doom Builder. If my English is bad, it's because I used google trasnlate, because I'm Brazilian. 0 Quote Share this post Link to post
2 Aquila Chrysaetos Posted September 2, 2018 (edited) Probably what happened was you made the door first, then made the sector behind it and the sector's ceiling height defaulted to the only other one adjacent to it, so when the door opens, it opens to 4 units below the next lowest ceiling, which is already at the floor height. Raise the ceiling of the sector behind the door and you will fix your door. Edited September 2, 2018 by Aquila Chrysaetos 2 Quote Share this post Link to post
0 DynamiteKaitorn Posted September 2, 2018 Little tip when making doors: Make the room it's connected to first (can literally just be a square, wouldn't matter) THEN make the door. Saves on having the conundrum occur. 0 Quote Share this post Link to post
