Hello, I wanted to know how to create a monster in slade.

It is important that you understand how to use DECORATE first, otherwise you won't go so far with your monster creation, or any other kind of game object:

Then start by creating a basic object, referred to as "Actor", this will get you familiar with how the format works:

Once you've got these basics out of the way you can start creating a more complex Actor type, such as monsters:

I recommend copying one of the default monsters codes and using it as a "template" to alter things to your liking and see how this impacts the monster ingame, after you make sure you understand the Format specifications and you get the basics of creating an actor:

This forum/subforum is existing for complicated, unusual questions, which requires some real thinking. Your questions are just requiring reading & learning skills, nothing more.

 

Next time if you'll ask about such easy things just because you're lazy for reading the wiki, I'll definitely gonna to report your posts as flood/spam
