There's a secret switch that activates the computer panel in that room as an elevator; when it rises again you can jump to the SSG platform. Oh finally I got how to get it. 0 Quote Share this post Link to post
Pale Albatross Posted February 22, 2019 I'm brand new to the world of custom doom wads and this is the first one I tried. All I can say is holy crap, I've been missing out, This is so much fun! Based off the description I thought it was going to be a jokey mod, first level had nothing so I thought someone was having a laugh. Once I hit the second level I was hit with a ton of demons to kill and was immediately hooked. I've never been a puzzly kind of guy when it comes to shooters, but this has just the right amount of it for me. Thank you so much for making this! 4 Quote Share this post Link to post
Bushpig2dope Posted March 9, 2019 (edited) Sorry for bumping this thread but I just had to say this This WAD was AWESOME, such great midis, such challenging levels and so much fun. I loved the aesthetic of all the levels, it was just such a blast playing this WAD. The levels set in Hell were something else. I've never got as much fun out of Doom 2 until I played these levels. They were so challenging and frustrating but epic at the same time, and the more you progressed and defeated hordes of enemies the better you felt. I'm not the best Doom player so it took me a while to get through some levels but I didn't care, learning how to beat them was so much fun. I'd be cursing you out while playing for placing Archviles here and sneaky Chaingunners there but at the end of the day it was good that you did because like I've said, learning these challenges and overcoming them was fun as hell. Great job man, legendary WAD in my eyes EDIT: And the midis, the midis were so sick, it made playing through the same level over and over perfectly fine. Whoever made these midis, they were great Edited March 9, 2019 by Bushpig2dope 1 Quote Share this post Link to post

Rudolph Posted February 27, 2022 (edited) @Capellan I am bumping this thread because I have started playing it today. Like others, I was at first worried that this mapset would turn out to be nothing more than a jokewad, but so far it is really good! In many ways, it reminds me of Scythe. Are the MIDI tracks original compositions for this project or are they from other projects? EDIT: Spotted a typo in the first intermission screen: "warn welcome" Edited February 27, 2022 by Rudolph 1 Quote Share this post Link to post
kalensar Posted February 27, 2022 Wowee! Looking pretty good up to Map03 so far. Might have to sink some time into this one cuz it has a good old school jive to it. 0 Quote Share this post Link to post
