Marlamir Posted September 29, 2018 Today i realize one problem that apear on gzdoom with version 3.0. The problem is that newer version of gzdoom didnt recognize custom iwads. In older version before 3.0 gzdoom load custom iwads or ipk3 just fine. It didn't ask me for iwads and load standalone but since gzdoom 3.0 old iwads that load by themself standalone (wolfenstein 3D tc, psx tc etc.) didn't load and i need to pick iwads first. Why newer gzdoom didn't recognize custom iwads? Whats going on? 0 Quote Share this post Link to post
Gez Posted September 29, 2018 https://zdoom.org/wiki/IWADINFO You need 3.2+ for loading .ipk3 or .iwad. If it worked with older, then it was probably because you either used a batch file that forced it to load the custom iwad as an iwad; and they should still work; or you had a modified build of GZDoom in which the custom IWADs were added to the gzdoom.pk3's IWADINFO file. 0 Quote Share this post Link to post
Marlamir Posted September 29, 2018 I have 3.4.1 and no there were no batch or anything like this, i just drag wad to exe and it work before. I allways using original exe, if there is exe inside wad folder i allways ended up draging all files to my exe and i didnt use the custom exe inside wad folder. Is just little bit strange for my that is not working anymore, im curious. 0 Quote Share this post Link to post
