Argent Agent Posted February 6, 2019 (edited) It's time for some Sky-Fi. @Decay your wish has been granted after over a year of waiting. This is an archival dump of a few years worth of source material I have produced for other projects via SpaceScape and SpaceEngine (or stuff I made when I was bored and wanted to explore SpaceEngine). Included within are Skyboxes in PNG format (may be used as is), Raw Sky Textures in PNG Format (unscaled - native to 1360x768 resolution and will require editing), as well as some Sky Textures within the Doom Palette at a 1024x256 resolution which can be used as is. The majority of these sky textures and all of the skyboxes are kept unaltered in .PNG format so that they may be adapted to other palettes or edited further, so to all looking to do recolors and all sorts of other edits: edit away. What you get in the Primary Phase: -28 1024x1024x1024 Skyboxes -89 1360x768 Raw Sky Textures (With multiple variants of the same setting) -34 1024x256 Paletted, Cropped Sky Textures For more information about the skyboxes and any other general stuff, please see READTHIS.txt within each .PK3 file. Stay tuned for more, as I still have a lot more I am going to produce and a lot more archived content that I still need to go through; I plan on making Skyboxes and Sky Textures that are complements of one another and will be updating this in the secondary phase. Decay Posted February 6, 2019 It's about time. These are some fantastic skyboxes. Some of them have already seen use in maps and they truly add a ton of atmosphere. Thanks for taking the time to make these skies, upon request and otherwise, and definitely for putting them together in a convenient pk3. Maybe sometime in the future once my editing skills improve - I think it'd be great as well! Glad to see all of the positive feedback for this. I have already started work on the secondary phase (plus there's other stuff I still need to release), so here is a little sneak peek at new content.
