You are entering a dimension not only of sight and sound, but of holes.

A land of mouths and hissing, of eyeballs and flesh.

A place John Romero cannot talk about.

You have just crossed into...

THE CACO ZONE

Guys, it's just a secret area in the Mandelbrot zoom. Of course doom can be found on a coordinate plane.

Oh my wad files!

I just made a giant masterpiece for all the world's greatest Doom-mapping nerds.

How about something that's both cursed, and "cannot unsee" material at the same time?

Ever took notice how in the first pumping frame of the shotgun, the barrel is considerably longer than the magazine tube, but in the subsequent frames, they're both the same length?

And I'm not even going to say anything about his abnormal looking hand, plus the weird lack of a thumb.

I think it's on the other side.

At this point, I'm quite afraid to even ask about Doom guy's anatomy.

Edit:

Okay, I literally fell in love with this contraption, and decided to just create an entire sprite sheet. If you want to make a cursed mod with this, go wild.

I was requested to make this for a discord’s inside joke. They wanted me to make a terrible mobile ad with the cursed cacodemon pic they gave me…

Pretty much the Doom equivalent of going to the fridge, seeing it's filled to the brim with food and saying there is nothing to eat.

(Why doesn't the Chaingun get more love anyways? It's not even bad.)

No joke, the chaingun is one of the best weapons in any situation. It can snipe out various low tier enemies, stunlock annoying enemies, and overall, bullets are common in any map, at least in classic doom, unlike the plasma gun. Aditionally, in ultimate doom, due to a lack of super shotgun, the chaingun feels more powerful and valuable.

I used to hate the chaingun compared to Wolf3D's because it seemed slower and just a sped up pistol, whereas the plasma rifle and later the perforator in Quake were answers to Wolf3D's super weapon. Which is mind boggling to think now because it's now the default weapon I have readied upon entering the next level and as stated is murder for hitscanners, stunlocks even the majority of mid-tier monsters, bullets are common to find usually and it also saves you shells and other more powerful resources. In fact maybe I use it too much, because bullets are usually what I run low on for those more relaxed maps with popcorn enemies.

Funny as it is, I think the problem with the chaingun doesn't lie within its functionality. Instead, it's mostly the aesthetic. The firing sound that they used for it is probably the worst possible choice for a powerful firearm. For the pistol, yes it works. For the chaingun, it just lacks the punch. It's just like the minigun in Serious Sam; powerful weapon, but it sounds like nail clippers and the lack of a recoil feedback unfairly makes it feel "weak" than it is.
