Oh my god, you even made them fall off when he gets hit, AND going through a hallway with too many knocks them off and makes you lose the armor.

I was really trying to figure out what it is, physically. To me, it kinda looks like the head of that martian guy from Bugs Bunny that's always trying to destroy Earth:

 

I don't know - it resembles a helmet somewhat, but DoomGuy already has a helmet, which looks very different. Oh well, good for a laugh anyway :)
