Urthar Posted April 19, 2019 DVIIPAL is a custom palette for 8bit software rendering, that improves the colour gradients of Doom's reds, pinks, green, and oranges, and is closely based on a previous release called DM2PAL and will be used by Doom Marine in the updated Deus Vult II. I felt it was different enough to warrant it's own thread, and it will make linking to it simpler. The main differences are that the automap colours are now in the correct places, and the browns are closer to the original Doom palette. A variety of exciting Boom colormaps are additionally included, with a couple of text translation tables for PrBoom+ Download: DVIIPAL.zip (Use DV_PAL.WAD for Doom, or DV2PAL.WAD for DoomII.) 25 Quote Share this post Link to post

⇛Marnetmar⇛ Posted June 3 Hey, terribly sorry for the necrobump. Urthar's not been online for a while and I was wondering how to get a hold of them. I'd like to release a few of my own palettes using DVIIpal as a base but the permissions for doing so aren't specified anywhere 1 Quote Share this post Link to post
