Hi,
im currently working on this page here with some friends doomzone.de

Heres a screenshot from the design and content

Its a bit inspired by doomworld.com and planetquake.com ;)
I think the page will open for the public next month if the work continus as fast as it is.

Wenn du willst kann ich auch was beitragen, z.B. Infos zu Story, Gegner, Waffen... Bin ja seit Ewigkeiten hier im Forum und verfolge jedes Detail dazu mit :)

As I can speak and write some German I could in theory contribute to some stuff, but I guess you'd rather want some who's a native German speaker to do that - don't want silly grammar errors :-P

Errr...das ist genau DAS was ich vermeiden will, weil ingame einfach kacke ist meiner Meinung nach.
Alte "News", beschissene Forenadministration, permanente Ausfälle, ein Schreibstil in den News der grauenhaft ist, null Formulierung und nichts...

Also besser als inga"y"me solls schon werden, ist ja nicht sooo schwer ;)

Allerdings muss ich dazu sagen das doomzone.de ein -privates- Projekt ist, bisher arbeiten nur Leute mit die ich persönliche kenne.
Wir haben also keine finanziellen und Marketingmöglichkeiten wie eben ingame oder andere.

nice to hear that your site will not be an ingame site copy. planetquake.de for example gets bader and bader - old news (hmmm...most of them arent actually news) and stupid forum posts (i think most of the posters dont even know what quake is).

if your site opens please give us some feedback here.

Some (some more) days ago planetquake.com WAS a good page.
But today...all what i see is gayspy advertisement and bad content.
Ok, the content of planetquake.com isn`t such a bad thing compared with planetquake.de.
The german planetquake.de sucks as, cheap copy of planetquake.com for kids - remember in germany its not allowed to sell quake and other bloody 1st person games to coustumer under 18 years.

gamespy is way too commercial for me, planetquake.de is a joke and planetquake.com is not the same like it was about 1,5 years ago.

my fav is quake.de because the site is slick and they only have real news - not news of the kind "clan blabla has won at lan blabla" - i dont care about that. more then that i'd like to hear from new mod-releases/-updates (like tenebrae) or from other quake(id)-related games...
