The Maplist: E3M1 - Burning Night by NeedHealth E3M2 - Mobius Flip by Lord_Z E3M3 - Aphotic Crypt by RonnieJamesDiner E3M4 - Ventòse by Roofi E3M5 - Brazen Hell by Steve D E3M6 - Severed Realm by riderr3 E3M7 - What Stares Back by pegleg E3M8 - Without Remorse by The_Slovinator E3M9 - Deja by ShadesMaster Spoiler Before we start, some rules to follow, if you don't like or you want to change some of the rules, you are free to say it: - Only up to 2 maps from one person. - Everyone is eligible, preferably newer mappers but literally anyone will do. You can even do a collab thing with another mapper, if you want! - It has to be limit-removing format, no fancy ZDoom stuff or Boom actions please. - You can provide a MIDI with your map if you do not want to use the default E3 track. - I would prefer a more classic and easier style to your maps, it doesn't necessarily have to be extremely polished/detailed to make the cut and I'd prefer not to have a slaughter map. - This time things gets a little bit different, you can use this little graphic compiled by yours truly, that includes a creepy void sky by Da Werecraft, a pitch black wall and floor for classic void usage, a new title and intermission screen. But over this pack, you can't add any new textures, sprites or sounds: - E3M6 must have a secret exit. - E3M8 ends when you kill the spider mastermind - E3M9 must be based upon your favorite IWAD map from memory, with a hellish twist in it. You can add new parts if really needed (like some places to connect rooms, etc.), just don't exaggerate... - Theme is void, so made a map that fits with the sky or any kind of map theme you want to do, techbase, hell, city, really anything you want to do! You can even mix them wildly like in pandemonium, you can start a map in hellish and then change drastically to another theme, there's no limit of what you want to do this time! - Just for don't turn this mapset into a hitscanners fest, you can always try out (if you wish) new gameplay ways over the original gameplay style like tyson map, maps with telefragging monsters, maps with puzzles and platforming... anything you want! - Not troll maps or obviously low effort garbage, whilst I'm not looking for a magnum opus I'd rather not make WOOO 4. Walter confetti Posted May 30, 2019 (edited) STEP4 texture for emulate brick wall is a interesting choice, but it couldn't appear like a tutti-frutti feast with ports that tend to emulate vanilla doom, like chocolate doom for example? Still looks pretty cool the levels you and NeedHealth are cooking out... I wonder what the other people are doing for this... From the OP, it sounds like you need to give it a hellish twist to make it fit with the visual style of the episode. So if you pick Underhalls, it would be blood and skintek instead of the regular water and pipes. That kind of thing. 2 Quote Share this post Link to post
