Download some fonts, make up new mapnames, copy/paste them into a graphics app, like Gimp, Paint.Net, Paint, whathaveyou, then apply filters and effects until you like the result. Don't make the graphics too large. Then bring them into your map with Slade3, convert to DOOM graphics format. Follow the originals as a guide. [Addendum] To clarify, For DOOM/2 you have to consider two aspects for map names 1. The map name in the automap is set in a bex file, use Whacked for that. When you have that, copy it into the map as a DEHACKED lump. 2. The map name in the intermission screen is done with the image, use a graphics app For G/ZDoom you can specify the map name in MAPINFO, which will set the name for both, automap and intermission screen.
