Is there any further news about this? I've looked but there doesn't seem to be any estimated date or if production has even started or finished.

I only use that example because it's a well known one, this has occurred in the history of almost every property once it reaches a certain threshold of popularity.

I agree that this isnt exclusive to the doom community. I do think the doom community is an especially good example of it, though. its sort of disappointing to me, honestly. as someone with less than typical views of doom and its brand i feel consistently pushed aside within this community whenever i express it.
