AnotherDamnNewb Posted October 22, 2002 Does anyone here have tips on getting into the mapping community? When D3 comes out I'd like to have some experience with map editors under my belt. I have a decent amount of experience with 3DStudio MAX, but it's very different from... let's say... Worldcraft. Any tutorials or something like that would be appreciated. P.S. I'm not entirely sure that this was posted in the correct category, but there wasn't a straight-up mapping category, and this fit best in my mind. Apologies for any inconveniences. 0 Quote Share this post Link to post
GS-1719 Posted October 22, 2002 One word: Radiant. Forget Worldcraft and all the other nonsense, Radiant is the daddy and the one you'll be using so get used to it. 0 Quote Share this post Link to post

Lord FlatHead Posted October 23, 2002 qeradiant.com. It's about 100% identical to the new Doom III editor, AFAIK. 0 Quote Share this post Link to post

Lord FlatHead Posted October 23, 2002 There's like seven different versions of the Radiant editor and they're all on qeradiant.com. Sue me. 0 Quote Share this post Link to post
