How would I make a secondary fire to lets say make the super shotgun shoot one shot at a time?
Or just secondary attacks in general.

You could define an Alt-Fire state to do this: https://zdoom.org/wiki/Weapon

Best way how to learn it is to take a look to some wads decorate lump. For example beautiful doom have them, look for alt-fire in decorate lump and see how is done.
