FTP is 'file transfer protocol'
It allows you to upload stuff to your site.
(or download, in some cases)

Its what people used to use before easy upload ;)

Most people still use it though... more convenient,
For the simple stuff Id suggest getting coffeecup free ftp (can be found on tucows.com I think)

oic, kewl, thx, im trying to learn all these web page designing things and dee-lee's so I can make a web site eventually, hence another reason im in Info tech :D ...Hopefully in a couple of months, Ill have a site up and running, and it wont be on GeoShitties. :D

No real HTML there.
