Episode Listing Question

How do you add or remove Episodes from the selection screen in Ultimate Doom? For example, say I wanted only 1 Episode to show, or have 6 Episodes shown for selection.

That will generally be done through MAPINFO. Different ports have different implementations. Some ports (and vanilla) do not allow you to change that at all.

I map in Boom format, but I intend for my maps to be played in GZDoom or something like it. (Edit, how did Romero get Sigil showing up as E5 on all ports then?)

1. It's not all ports. Try it in Chocolate to see. (But don't actually start a game, you need limit-removing to avoid VPO crashes.)

2. SIGIL actually contains MAPINFO lumps for several MAPINFO-supporting ports.

3. Romero's star factor made some port developers code some special thing just for Sigil when they didn't otherwise have MAPINFO support.

I can at least change the episode names in Slade right?

You can change the graphics used to display episode names, yes.
