whatup876 Posted December 15, 2019 I haven't plaued D3 in a while and can't think of when i can touch that game again, but i wonder, is it possible to play that game's multiplayer (both original and BFG edition) with bots (offline obviously) or in a local way? (like split screen) Because i know Doom 3's MP has unique stuff that isn't in the single player but there's not much in terms of text, image or video on the wiki. I was just wondering how easy would it be to just set up a personal game or something in that line, just to record and document the content for the sake of information and all. (not that i can do this, i'm just curious) 0 Quote Share this post Link to post
snapshot Posted December 16, 2019 If you have the original game (non-BFG edition) and Resurrection of Evil you can use SABot (Stupid Angry Bot) 0 Quote Share this post Link to post
Avoozl Posted December 17, 2019 IIRC SABot is incapable of playing RoE's multiplayer capture the flag game mode. 0 Quote Share this post Link to post
snapshot Posted December 19, 2019 It shouldn't really matter if the intent is to just run through the maps and see what's in them, either way I don't really see what bots can add beyond using them as rats to test weapons on. 0 Quote Share this post Link to post
Mr.Rocket Posted December 20, 2019 Practice, to test on human rats later, of course. :P 0 Quote Share this post Link to post

Mr.Rocket Posted December 20, 2019 (edited) Heh, I suppose you're right. There is however a few somewhat active servers, usually on the weekends though. One of them being The Sandwich Server. And some others running EMZ (Enhanced Militarized Zone), usually running custom dm maps also. Edited December 20, 2019 by Mr.Rocket 1 Quote Share this post Link to post
