SlayerOGames666 Posted December 25, 2019 For christmas, i got a TI Nspire CX CAS along with other stuff. So i installed doom 2 on it, via nDoom. If you have used this before, what do you think of it as a portable doom playing device? personally, i don't like the finnicky controls and the fact that i have no idea what source ports nDoom supports when it comes to playing PWADS. 2 Quote Share this post Link to post
Doomkid Posted December 25, 2019 (edited) Woah, this is awesome, I didn’t even know about it. For those curious: https://doomwiki.org/wiki/NDoom The wiki seems to incorrectly state the latest release was from 2011: https://www.omnimaga.org/news/new-ndoom-2-2-now-fully-supports-ti-nspire-cx/ EDIT: Looks like it’s been worked on as ‘recently’ as 2016: https://tiplanet.org/forum/archives_voir.php?id=6631 Considering what it is I would be surprised if it goes beyond vanilla compatibility in terms of pwads, but if you can test that out I’d be curious to hear the results.
